Can anyone tell me why the BAMA v AU game moved to Fri.?

I could see the game beaing played at night but 2:30?

because it got switched with the lsu-arkansas game

that friday game fricking sucks

the SEC wanted a more high profile game. That slot is usually the only CFB game on at the time so it gets a national audience.

LSU vs Ark while good games lately doesn't have the appeal as the Iron bowl.

I know it sucks for the fans, but it's good for the SEC.

I for one am glad LSU gets to play Sat night instead.

It is replacing Texas v Texas A&M because it lost its national prominence. Not saying that Auburn is a national contender team right now but a team that people watch (SEC) and a good fanbase. Even if Bama's is bigger, that helps.

Oh the irony...

....a fan of a team that calls Tiger Stadium home calling another stadium a dump.

I've always liked the Friday after thanksgiving game. Mainly b/c it's when Houston would pull the old "You gotta lot of mommma's and daddy's, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters eatin left over thanksgiving turkey. Just go let it loose today men and I mean let it loose."
