In the Ole Miss game last night, there was an injured Rebel late in the game. Can't remember the players name, but I do remember it was on of our freshmen. It looked like they splinted his leg on the field, but I don't remember ever hearing what they thought it was, and I looked online and can't find anything about it. Was wondering if anyone knew? Also DT Shackelford was injured at some point and I was wondering about him as well? Thanks.

It was Tim Simon, an RB from Cordova, Alabama.

That sucks. How did it happen and what type of injury was it? I really like that kid. Damn he was an incredible RB in HS.

Thanks, couldn't remember his name for anything. I think it was the anger I had going for Jesse Palmer and the fact that we were playing like shite.

I don't know what type of injury it is but they splinted his leg and carted him off best I remember, so I am thinking it may be pretty serious. Happened late in the game. Maybe beginning of the 4th. It was when we were attempting to mount a comeback. I somehow missed the play, and I don't remember seeing the replay just him being attended to

I was wondering the same thing. I heard his name last night and grimmaced when I saw he was laying on the turf. They put the splint on his leg and brought out the cart, so I'm guessing it was bad.
I saw him play in the state championship game last year, and hoped he'd do well at Ole Miss.

I remember that it was a special teams play. He was on a coverage unit, I think. They didn't show how he hurt it.
