Because it is heavily wooded and when you go there crazy people jump out of bushes and try to blow you up?

What happens in Starkville stays in Starkville. fricking cows, sheep and cousins. Thats why they call it Starkvegas.

Why all the Hate? Starkville isnt near as bad as you people are trashing it for.
I have also once wondered why people call it Starkvegas? I had an older cousin who is about 10 years older than me and he called it Starkvegas so i assume it originated sometime during the mid to late 80's. I dunno.

Hey =it is what it is-its a cool little town-its not Baton Rouge, Knoxville, Athens, ect-and don't claim to be-but don't worry-you can have a good time. Lets put things this way-in Baton Rouge on gameday, this is what happens...you wake up, eat, start drinking, eat again-drink a lot more-stagger to the game-drink at the game-go out after the game and party more...if you can still function, you maybe get lucky......well, all that can be done in Starkville-just not on as large a scale! Been there-done it!!!
