Sec Rantards, flamers,Haters of LSU and bandwagon LSU fans that have been puttin LSU down.
1. IT WAS THE FIRST FREAKIN GAME!!! Relax! LSU has struggled with season openers before. Even with the almighty Saban.
2. Chavis couldnt have a solid scheme goin into the game bc of new coaches and coachin style at Washington. LSU gave up 478 yards, 300 in the first half! After halftime adjustments LSU gave up 178yards and 10pts!!! 80yrds came on a last minute drive when LSU was up 2 scores! So before the final minute LSU D gave up 90yrds and 3pts. Ill take that all day. Bo Pelini gave up 500+ yards in his first game at LSU against Arizona St. Ended up having a top 10 defense. So give it a couple weeks before judging.
3. Washington will not go 0-12 this year. They are much improved and will win 7-8 games. Sarkiisian is going to be a great coach! Just a few examples of how much difference a year and new coach makes. ( Alabama 2007 7-6 "ULM", record in 08 12-2) (LSU 2002 8-5, 2003 12-1 BCS champs) so give this 0-12 talk a break!
4. LSU did exactly what they had to do to WIN!! Sometimes they look unstoppable (LSU vs Vtech 07, GaTech 08, Miami 05 and numerous other blow outs. Then there are the ugly wins Wash 09, Miss State 00, Tulane 07, Troy 08 & 04 , Ole Miss 02. Teams have a lot more UGLY wins than blow outs.
Basically it all boils down to it being the first damn week!! Give these teams a few games to show their true colors. Ole Piss looked horrible against memphis. Snead didnt look like one of the top qb in the nation.

yea you're right, I need to stop convincing myself of these facts. Guess Ill have to agree with all of you! LSU looked freakin horrible in a WIN, this season is over with, cant wait for 2010. Hell, look how Bama has gone down the toilet after goin 7-6 in 07 and losing to ULM.
