My cousin is a junior at LSU and has lined up 2 extra tickets for myself and my brother to go to the LSU Florida game. The catch is, tickets are in the LSU student section. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience in the student section there. I've sat in the ole miss and bama student sections, but i hear this is a different animal.

if you choose to wear UF colors and openly root for Florida, you wont have fun during the game. That's pretty plan and simple.

eta: its unlikely you will take physical abuse, but you will be verbally berated the whole time...and I am not just talking about the casual comment...hell, Ive seen opposing fans sit in the LSU section at away games for LSU and not have fun.

If Florida puts up 50-very easily could happen with 3rd and Chavis-and he's rooting his arse of the whole time, I think it's very likely he will get physically abused.

wow your students are that bad huh? I have yet to see an opposing fan in our student section be treated that badly other than the typical gatorbait and jeering.

It's not that they're bad, it's that they are not sober. And continue the inebriation during the game. By the time the 4th gets here, it could get ugly.

haven't been to an LSU game before I see otherwise you'd know the answer to this one.

if you just sit there and dont cheer i doubt anyone does more than verbally rape you. If you go crazy for uf big plays and rub shite in you are likely to have shite thrown on you if you are lucky. If you aren't you will end up in a fight.

so its really up to how you act during the game. If you just sit there you will get shite if you cheer all bets are off.

I'd wear LSU colors, cheer openly for Florida, and if anyone asks you...tell them you're very confused.

last year a ole miss fan sat in the student section. He took alot of tiger baiting until they started beating us. Then it got alot more than just tigerbaiting. By the end of the game people we tossing cups and shite in that direction. I thought about sitting in the miss state student section with my cousin this year but I dont think it would be fun. If i go to the road game i wana cheer and shite and doing that in another schools student section just seems like asking for trouble.

If i was you id honestly prob sit somewhere else but thats just me.

well unfortunately its cheap tix from a cousin or 200$+ for tix.. so im trying to decide if its worth it...ultimately it would be better to sit somewhere other than the student section

this is nothing like what it would be in the LSU student section. I'm telling you, I wouldn't do it.

Be loud and proud...trick is just before you get beat up to be as intoxicated as them. Lessens the pain. Ahh the memories you'll have up to blacking out!
