i don't see how any bama fans can actually downplay this - he should have been ejected from the game

That's not true. Refs push players away all the time to break up scuffles.

spoken like a true homer/rival. The ref dished out what he thought was adequate punishment with the unsportsmanlike penalty. Get over it. Yall will have to face McClain later in the season.

you're doing what you THINK alabama fans are doing... not listening or thinking or reasoning. the REF that was there, heard the situation, and evaluated it THOUGHT OTHERWISE... no one thinks what he did was "right" but for god's sake... he didn't slap the ref, hit the ref, tackle the ref... nothing. he brushed his hand off with vigor... that's it. he was never even MAD at the ref.

seeing how a ball crosses a plain, or a pass interference call is hardly the same as judging someone for being angry about something he probably had a valid reason to feel angry ABOUT.

How many times a week do you hear of this situation or see 2 personal fouls on the same player on the same play? It was obviously a rare occurance....BUT the player should not touch the ref and as you say Sabass will handle it internally and no one at the press conferences this week will have the balls to push Sabass with serious questions.

What's with ANY football fan going to these folks' facebook pages? Whether to post or whatever.. that's just freaky.

You're right. It's even creepier that I've actually met him. Considering all the Bama fans that stalk their players/recruits, I seriously wouldn't be talking shite.

from reading your posts, I'd tend to be more inline with thinking you've not figured out the ins and outs of the intrawebs.
