It may be Germans but I was listening to Rivals Radio with Bill King. A caller called in a stated that Bama football team has been hit with the Swine Flu. He specifically said Mt Cody, I was wondering how many players are said to be affected and will they be available for the VT game?

I remember hearing something about this earlier. But only about Cody; not the football team as a whole.

Yea this is bigtime Germans. Cody had it last week, but he's better and back at practice.

Terrence Cody was the first major player to be hit. The rest were walk-ons that brought it with them with the rest of the roster reported when fall classes started. There are rumors that Darrington Sentimore and Marquis Maze were out of practice because of it. That all being said, its not even confirmed that that's the typed of flu they even had. The only confirmed reports are "flu-like symptoms".

Terence Cody had returned to practice last saturday, and Maze, McCullough, and Sentimore are the ones still dealing with a fever and did not practice.

Rivals and the caller did not do a very good job of communicating the info but this is great news for you guy's- Continue the SEC dominance on Saturday Night in Hotlanta.

I don't think it's the swine flu. The players usually are better in a few days and return to practice.

It was just reported that some more players were out today.... Starting strong-side linebacker Cory Reamer and freshman quarterback AJ McCarron
