Barkley named USC Starter, so where does that leave Mustain?

Matt Barkley has been named the starter at USC over sophomore Aaron Corp, and Mitch Mustain, who's been trailing behind the other two since spring practice. I didn't think it was a good choice at the time when Mustain decided to transfer to USC, and it sure doesn't seem that way now that's he 3rd string behind two younger players.

he needs to leave usc if he wants to see the field again as a starting qb

Yep, that's kinda the feeling I'm getting as well. Barring injury to both the other two, Mustain's not likely to see the field and it won't be getting any better with USC pulling in top QB recruits each year. I understand not being afraid to compete, but damn, transferring to USC?

he will not see the field at all unless the other two get hurt. i was kinda hoping he would step it up since he does have a lot of talent, hes just struggled picking up the offense

Mitch leaves Arkansas and is blamed for bitching about playing time and being a whiny bitch.

Mustain was struggling to be academically eligible this semester... he seems like he's got the wrong attitude.

Actually Barkley starting this season would only make Scroggins decision to go to USC easier. He knows that Barkely is not redshirting, and in this cse Barkley coudl go to the NFL after 3 years starting.
