Petey Smith, an ESPN top 150 player and EA all star defensive player of the game, took a Greyshirt at Alabama rather than going to Auburn to play...WITH HIS BROTHER!

some of those kids need to start going to aurbun to even things out. Alot of the talent Saban has brought in has already transfered. Just throwing away a year of their life.

It's not throwing away a year of their life, it's coming to Alabama to see if you can hang a be a part of something great. Some give it a try and can't cut the mustard but at least they gave it a shot. They never know unless they give it a try.

Personaly, I dont want a kid who goes somewhere else because he doesnt think that he's good enough to get playing time. I want ones who are up for the challenge and have the perseverance to work for their moment. Andrew Zow's senior year is a great example of how a players attitude should be when it comes to playing time.

I'm not trying to beat a dead horse but it's a fact. Auburn has more recent hardware. What has Bama won recently besides regular season games?

Thank you for pointing this obscure fact out.
Let me also point out the fact that Alabama's trophy rack is much more filled out than Auburn's... you know, since it is the past we're talkin about.
