i thought the exact same thing. 5 of the "bama" threads are started by LSU folks if you include this thread.
but i mean, today/yesterday are kinda bigger days considering nothing in the world of college football (or any sports news for that matter) could be bigger news in these neck of the woods.

True. At times this year though, it could have also been considered the Auburn rant or the Tennessee rant. It just depends on the news.

I'm not shocked......it's Bama.
I will concede that the punishment fit the crime......but if you are already on probation, then it's pretty BS.

I don't know why anyone expected worse for a few players trying to help out some friends.
It may have been more insidious among the other sports, but I truly believe that was the case for the football players involved.

The fact that this had to do directly with abusing athletic scholarships should warrant losing a few of them.
