Ole Miss is pretty highly ranked in many polls and by many fans. I wanted to know why so many people think they'll do as good as they say. I'm still out on this one. Just wanted to hear the arguments as to why Snead and Co. are legit or on the other side of things why they aren't legit.

Please don't spit too much venom at me.

Houston Nutt has you people in Missdom under some mass hallucinogen. Reality is about to bitch slap your entire fan base and its going to so fun to watch. Nutt's game management skill set alone snatches defeat from the jaws of victory on at least 2 occasions a year so you guys are good for 4 to 5 losses.

1) They have a really easy schedule. They play absolutely no one OOC (like LSU last year) and miss UGA and UF in the East.

2) They return a frickton of players and lost to some teams early in the year that they would've fricking stomped at the end of the year.

I hate having to play against Houston Nutt. He's always prepared and throws in a little wrinkle that makes preparing for his teams very tough.

Houston Nutt goes to Ole Miss and now they beat us on occasion now -- we even lose to them in Baseball. Nutt will lose to the Vandys and Kentuckys but when it comes to Arkansas, Florida or LSU -- he will have them ready to play.

+1.

I actually think LSU beats Ole Miss this season, just because the players should be pumped about getting stomped last year. But, I'll say they finish 10-2, hell freezes over, and they actually win the west and go to Atlanta. God help us all.

If you're referring to me, I am definitely not an alter. Just sitting here pondering the upcoming season. And after reviewing the schedules of Ole Miss, Bama, and LSU, it's very clear Ole Miss has the easiest path to Atlanta. So you've got to like their odds.

On another note, I work and sit directly next to two Ole Miss alums at my office. So if my prediction comes to fruition, it's going to be absolutely miserable come football season.
