This is coming from the SEC BB tournament questions and neutral venues, why can there not be a rotating SECCG?

I would lile maybe ATL, Nashville or Memphis, Birmingham and maybe even Mobile (what does that stadium hold?)

I could see ATL, Nashville, New Orleans and Orlando. The others aren't very appealing.

Bham and Mobile don't have a facility for it. Bham might after they get the dome though.

Wherever it is, it needs to be inside.

My personal list for rotating the SECCG would be

GA Dome
Super Dome
Citrus Bowl
Lberty Bowl
And if for some reason it could be redone back to Birmingham, since the first 4 or 5 were played there.

As a side note I wouldnt mind seeing the SEC MBB tourne going to BJCCC one more time.

I would axe New Orleans due to the Sugar bowl. Althoiugh it would be great for the city, win the SEC and earn a trip back is not as much of a reward.

sorry I meant to say, that when the SECCG was in NOLA, it does not neccessarily mean that the winner of the SECCG would be in the BCSNCG.

Not like you ever made a mistake typing, but oh well.

One of my main arguments about every year in Atlanta is that it is slanted towards the east. I remember in 2001 talking to some Tenn fans that said it was I think a 3 hour dirve from Knoxville. How far from Gainesville? We know it is in decent proximity to Athens.

FOr the West - Tuscaloosa is what - 4 hours? What about Auburn? I know Fayettville and BR are not easy day drives I would ask about Oxford, but know one really has a precedent for that.

Sorry, had to take that shot.

Long overdue...the B12 moves their game between KC, STL, DFW, San Antone, & Houston.

My choices for SECCG would be Tampa, Nashville, Nawlins, and ATL.

Memphis, Jax & B'ham won't make it without serious facility upgrades.

2 hours if you drive the speed limit and construction along 85 isn't too bad.

I think Nashville would be a great place to have it in terms of nightlife and other things to do around there. However, there is always the possibility of it being cold and rainy that first weekend of December, and while I know SEC fans will brave just about anything for a football game, I think the SEC wants to keep it in a warm and dry venue.

Umm...it's not moving. It's the perfect set up with the most central location. Also, the SEC will never let the ACC have their championship game there.

Bham would be most central, IMO.

I don't think so either, but Nashville, NOLA, or Jax would be decent locales.

Nashville or Memphis would be a nice central location for all teams.

too bad they didn't build the interstates in strait lines to atlanta. I think it should be rotated between atlanta and memphis.
