...and yet the best teams are still on the west coast. Since LSU's dominance in the 90's, the SEC has been pretty overrated. Outside of LSU, the rest of the conference only has 1 title

but hardly any of their fans care. Baseball will never be like basketball. They are going to put the regionals where peoeple show up.Basketball was that way until the 80's,but fans continued to attend games their teams weren't playing.

West coast teams won't come see their own teams play baseball.

which is the major reason southern teams get overrated and most more regionals. The NCAA knows you guys are the only ones who really care

All west coast fans have to do is support their own teams and the NCAA will put regionals there. Its not that hard of a concept.

+1

If they have such good teams why wouldn't you go and support?

I do, but unfortunitly a lot of people don't. I'll take title over support though

1998.....and still SC by itself has twice as many titles as the entire SEC

other than LSU, the SEC has been really overrated for a long time. For being so great, only LSU can finish the job and win titles

It's basically LSU and everyone else, but it's not treated that way for some reason

not really. I don't see how you can say the SEC is 'overrated'. Look how many SEC teams have been to Omaha in addition to LSU just since 1996:

Georgia,Alabama,Auburn,Florida,Tennessee and Mississippi State. That's a bunch of different tams. Only LSU has won a title in that time, but SEC baseball is outstanding.

Ohio State/Big 10 moral victories are awesome. LSU is the only one that can close the deal out of the SEC teams

winning titles is what matters. The ACC wins tons of games and gets to a ton of CWS, but none of their teams can finish it off. The point is to win titles

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. I think Ohio State making the BCS title game two years in a row was remarkable.

Just because a team doesn't 'finish',doesn't mean its a bust. I hate the "BuffaloBilling" of losing teams in championship events.

I have to disagree with this also. The SEC has put many teams in Omaha. We have solid teams down here.

I never said the SEC didn't play good baseball. The fact remains though, that other than LSU, the conference as a whole hasn't finished the deal, while being considered by many the best conference

don't even get me going on the ACC
