Tell me about your 2009 team. How do you think you'll do?

A simple reply would be that we should have our best season since 2003, and should compete with Alabama and LSU for the SEC West title. I'm not going to go blathering about National Championships (you have to jog before you can become the Flash), but Pharmacist Reb might.

If we can fill a big hole in the LT spot that Oher left and have someone step in to be the vocal leader of the defense like Peria Jerry was then we will be ok. Our D Line backups a pretty capable though.

We could win the west, but we could also finish third or fourth. If I were a betting man, I would pick 2nd in the west. Although I will be disappointed if we dont contend to go to ATL, because it may be our only chance for a while.

Thanks. Are there any links where I can read up on them.

I am cautiously optimistic about next season. I think this is the best chance we have had in a long time to win the west. I know i know we have never been before but it could happen this year. I think we return 16 or 17 starters. We win all OOC games, lose to USC on thursday in columbia, win one or both against bama and lsu. So I am saying anywhere from 9-3 to 11-1. Flame away

I agree. Time will tell about Chizik and Auburn, but this kid cpabarner running claiming a recruiting national championship in 2010 needs to get his priorities straight.

We should do better than last year. Anything less than 9-4 and the Cotton Bowl would be a disappointment for us.

The West is ripe for the taking in '09, so why not us? We have the best offense in the West, and a defense that played lights out at the end of the year.

This Ole Miss guy I work with swears they are going to be National Champs and that Sneed will win the Heisman. He also thinks that LSU is now in the crapper and Ole Miss and Bama are the new powerhouses in the West.

That guy is

I'm not sure why you guys seem to struggle with some of your weaker SEC and out of conference games each year...but then you'll kick our arse and beat Florida. The question should be, are you going to put a full season together...if so, then you'll be dangerous and should compete for the West.

Just nod your head, agree with him, and smile. Say they are primed to make a NC for the next couple of years.

B/c when it doesn't happen and all that hope is built up, then comes crashing down on him. He'll get a divorce, kick his dog/cat, beat his kids, and when he finally can't take it anymore. Maybe he might jump out in front of your car one day in the parking lot and decide to end the madness.

Well, the hogs will tell you because Houston Nutt always lets the fan base down in year two. Of course, they'll also tell you he can't recruit, and that myth was debunked this year.

The LSU fans will tell you because last year didn't really happen for them.

2008 was not the season you were looking for.

They have corrected all their problems. Jordan Jefferson is the stuff, and the new defensive coordinator will make their defense #1 in the SEC.

The Alabama fans will tell you that it doesn't matter who they plug in at quarterback because they are Alabama. Oh, and Saban, Saban, Saban. Enough said.

The Auburn fans will tell you that since they have 18 recruiting coordinators and two coaches on their staff, they are destined to turn it around. They will not tell you that they still have Kodi Burns at QB.

The Mississippi State fans will tell you that the "spreadneck" offense is really going to take off. No offensive line required.

That's what is great about this time of year. Everyone has a chance.

Let me be the first to say I cannot Stand Ole Miss, anybody that knows me knows I hate them. With that said I also know Football and as much as it Kills my soul to say this, I honestly believe Ole Miss will be a Force in the SEC and if they can win a couple of thier big ones then they are set up to be in really good shape at the end of the year partly because they will not be challenged out of conference. With Sneed at QB with gamebreakers around him (McCluster) and the Nutt's Offense scheme and an improved defense I believe they can beat anybody in the SEC on a given day. With that said let me just say GO TO HELL OLE MISS.

I do know football and I can prove it, watch this, LSU is the most overrated team in the Country and the only people that dont see that are LSU fans. See I told you I know football.
