Wasn't there a crapload of BAMA fans on here recently that felt it was such a disservice to the SEC for some of us to support Utah in the sugar bowl.
I find that odd, because there is a 7 page thread that has overwhelming support for OU in the BCSNCG.

With them Conference camaraderie only exists if they win as well...

There is absolutely no reason for LSU to pull for Bama in that game. Bama's return to national prominance has no benefits for LSU. Notice when they aren't good we win NC's? That is not to say we can't win them when they are good....not at all, but them being a top program simply doesn't help us at all. It hurts recruiting. It hurts when we play them every year. It's just not good.

At least we usually beat them... that alone makes it worth the challenge.
I find winning the SEC more satisfying than winning the NC for some reason. I guess bc winning the SEC is a bigger jump than going from SEC champ to NC.
