Man it stinks there.

Anywho, I obviously didn't give Utah enough credit. I had them beating us by only 3.

Looking back at it they are a terrible matchup for us. Speed rushers on green tackles. A NFL corner (who I thought played like a vagina) with NFL size. They do a great job on offense spreading the field and took advantage of our inability to rush the passer with 4.

They walked every swinging dick within 8 yards of the ball and dared us to throw. We missed our chances against down the field.

I think some will say we weren't prepared, but I don't neccessarily agree with that. When we blitzed they either hit it over the top or hit a hot read. When we sat back they sat down in open zones. They had a senior QB and some very well coached, experienced receivers.

Congrats to the Utes. They beat the number 2 teams in the Pac-10 and the SEC. They beat every opponent in front of them. It's hard for me to argue against their "we're number 1" chants.

I actually lived in Slidell for three years when I was really young. My brother was born in Gretna.

I have stayed at a house with a friend in what I think is the Garden District. I think it is on Chestnut Street. All I remember from the two times we stayed with them is we took a trolley from the house to Canal Street I believe.

Other than Nashville, I have been to New Orleans more than any other metro area.

Regardless, it still stinks down there.

Yes you do. I broke the bank down there.

New Orleans needs a lot more of me down there.

Things are looking a lot better than 2 years ago though.

I can walk outside with about 100,000 Bammers right now and it doesn't have that distinct New Orleans stench.

I can't believe y'all are this upset about NOLA smelling so bad.

I'm from the nola area. And it really does stink sometimes, depending on where you are and what the weather is like. the FQ smells, esp on warm days. There's no point in denying it.

What was that coming from the Ponch today? It almost looked like sandstorm or something? It gunked up our windows and when it started raining I had to pull over at a gas station and do some work.

When are SEC fans going to realized we are all from the same breed?

There are just some extremes in the swamps of LA and the East Tennessee mountains.

The man is right. He's not taking a cheap shot at the city. On most days the quarter & bourbon street smell like arse gone bad.

imo, Utah just simply whipped us. They were more hungry than our players.
No matter what we did, Utah adjusted and pretty much shut us down.
Their WR's pretty much abused our secondary...hell our secondary should have paid the UTAH WR's for the damn clinic they put on.
Anyway on the brighter side of things....we finished 12-2 which is far better than I or anyone else had ever imagined prior to the start of the season.

Ok to settle this and concentrate on football I will admit that parts of Alabama smell worse than New Orleans.

Especially Lee County when they cow patties get wet and it starts to heat up.
