Per ESPN, Tyrone Willingham will step down as coach of UW at season's end. Are you Bama fans starting to get nervous ???

If Saban gets them an SEC championship this year I don't think many will care.

Saban will be at the Gumps for a long time, even he realizes he can't keep making moves. he loves the SEC, he would have come back to LSU if it would have been the right time. He's not going anywhere.

I cannot imagine anyone offering Saban more control than he has right now...im not sure that is even possible at a university. I also cannot see anyone out biding Alabama for Saban at this point either. Im sure saban likes his old boss at Washington, but he will not get a better deal than he has at alabama.

id be willing to bet washington has some money to throw around.

i doubt saban stays with bama long. 4 years max, so he has 2 years left.

Its all starting to make sense now....

Saban was all smiles Saturday night after the win, uncharacteristically happy. It was pointed out by several reporters and posters on this site. Maybe at halftime he got the phone call from Jimmy or Mark that "Plan W" was a go....

Hmm. Sexton is a big Tennessee fan and booster.May have been tinkering with the fine print in the second half and met Nick in the locker room to look it over.

Yup. They can't recruit in California anymore with USC, Cal, and Oregon reemerging and their fans still think it's the 90s and they're a top program

Too many pasty arse white boys in Washington to have a winning football team. you have to have some tight skin brothas to play football and that is what we have in the South baby!!

Dec. 21, 2008:
Saban: "I guess I have to say it. I'm not going to be the University of Washington coach. ... I don't control what people say. I don't control what people put on dot-com or anything else. So I'm just telling you there's no significance, in my opinion, about this, about me, about any interest that I have in anything other than being the coach here."
