Has Brantley passed up Newton as Tebow's backup? Is Newton hurt?

I'm pretty sure Brantley just beat him out as the number 2 backup.

Yea, Brantley is the number two. Newton is a hoss, but can't hit the broad side of a barn. Brantley is the best passer on the team by far.

Brantley's a way better quarterback. Newton was hurt earlier in the season, but he definitely lost the #2 job and is rumored to be looking to transfer.
It is always funny watching him practice. He either throws a laser to his target, or throws a laser to the defensive player ~long or short, it's always a rocket and looks painful to catch.
Meyer had to pull him one practice last year because he had thrown about 25 passes, all of which were complete, but only 19 were to his offensive teammates.
Good riddance to him.

That kid needs to move to TE.

I was not aware that Florida had a back-up Qb. Tebow is always in until the end of the game, blowout or not.

it doesn't really matter until Teblow is gone, and Urban Legend keeps Teblow in so he can win the Heisman
FL is gonna suck once Teblow is gone.

Are you being facetious? Brantley was in the whole 4th against Kentucky.

They are very similar. It might be hard to tell the difference as they switch in and out.
