Very well deserved.

Wasn't near an SEC caliber player out of HS, but has worked and bought in to his role and has become a very valuable player for us. Total team player. Congrat Blood

What he did again LSU when half our DL was injure a few years ago was amazing. That would have been his fr year if he didn't redshirt (not sure if he did or not).

Defiantly feel the honor is being passed on to someone that can live up to it. He has big shoes with Hilton leaving.

Is the award voted on by the defensive side?

I think it's weird that the award is going to a non-starter.

It's not designed for a starter, but for the player that most exhibits the hard work ethic that Chucky embodied in his short life on this earth and also Chucky's never give up attitude. The player that most exemplifies these qualities is chosen. Youngblood deserves the honor. Congrats!
Yes, Chucky's shoes are hard to fill, but I am so thankful for his legacy. He was a true champion!
