Why is our facility lighting so bad across all sports?

Lighting at VHS, Pavilion, and even Swayze Field is so bad in comparison to other programs, especially when watching on TV. Watching the basketball game last night brought this topic up for me. There are shadows everywhere. It looks like the lights were placed behind beams and there are zero lights on top of the actual court. Why can't we get that right?

And at the Vaught...we need to do this asap.

too much light would expose the inner workings of #tNetwork

We're evidently supposed to like dark things now.

Maybe if we had a darker court like everyone else you posted it would be better

A brand new building with newer, more energy efficient lighting will have different wavelengths of light that can make the shadows look worse

Have you been to the Pavillion? Maybe it's just a TV thing. Having been to the Pavillion, both in the stands and on the court, I saw nothing wrong with the place period. Lighting included.

Same I've sat court side every game for every game and have never had a problem with the lighting.

I'm talking from a TV presentation standpoint. I haven't been able to make it to a game yet, but on TV it looks off.

Lighting doesn't look bad to me. Football isn't great but isn't terrible either. They went in and brightened the football lights not too long ago if I remember correctly.

The pavilion lighting compared to the Tad Pad lighting is amazing. I have zero complaints with the pavilion.
