This guy is

Here are a few nuggets from Jon Rothstein yesterday:

quote:

Ole Miss looks like a scrappy SEC-team that could finish anywhere bw 5 and 10. Veteran squad that lacks depth, but owns experience.

Impact JUCO transfer: Ole Miss PG Sam Finley. Will replace Jarvis Summers at PG. More speed and bounce than power and girth. Velocity!

There is noticeably more "burst" in Stefan Moody than last season. Had a titanium rod put in his leg during off season. Looks explosive.

So much Nate Robinson in Stefan Moody...

Anthony Perez has been like alternate side parking during his career at Ole Miss -- it's every third day. Will the hourglass run out?

Liberty transfer Tomasz Gielo is going to have a major role for Ole Miss as a stretch PF. Plays with purpose and skill. Hungry to score.

Early prediction on Ole Miss' starting five: Sam Finley, Stefan Moody, Martavious Newby, Tomasz Gielo, Sebastian Saiz.

The surprise today at Ole Miss? 6-4 freshman Terence Davis. Plays with ferocity. Could evolve into a lockdown defender. Rotation guy.

Figured some of you guys could use a distraction

We could finish between 5-10? Why not just say between 1-14?

2-14 would be a better prediction. Nobodys beating Kentucky

Not very bold obviously but it says we'll be lucky to be a bubble team but won't be the worst in the conference.

I'm looking forward to going to a game in the new arena. Probably try to go the Florida game in hopes of some revenge

They're stacked, but they are much more mortal than last season. LSU was a buzzer beater from beating them, and I think A&M took them to double OT. Both teams get a ton back.

I think LSU beats them at home and UK responds with a comfortable 10-15 point win in Lexington.

With Florida rebuilding and Arkansas' counterfeit scandal, Ole Miss could definitely finish a lot higher than most would think

I've seen Moody practice. He's looking outstanding so far. He's improved on everything.

Ole miss took them to overtime also.

And if not for a questionable foot on 3 point line point removal t n minutes after the fact would have won the game.
