What is left?

NOI #1: Saunders ACT fraud in 2010 under Nutt
Tunsil and Hampton loaner cars
Tunsil stepdad $800
Tunsil family free hotel rooms (11 days?)
Tunsil slept on a couch 2 nites
Big Herb got a t-shirt(triple-X) and a Big Mac w/fries
Freeze spoke to Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a recruit was present

NOI #2: Golson went hunting and shot a squirrel
Barney with a second phone/lied to Freeze

What else?

At most, less than $10k in benefits? Not a shred of evidence that Freeze at fault. And Ole Miss fans (Dores, NoColors) are calling for Vitter to fire Freeze?

Related info-

Leo's deposition is scheduled for July 19.

Leo could never produce the $11,000 he received from the boosters. How will he pay for an attorney.

Lindsey's attorney is Matt Wilson, a legal lightweight. This may be his bio:

"Matt Wilson is a native of Mississippi. The son of a high school principal and a teacher’s aide, Matt attended various grade schools and high schools in Mississippi and Arkansas before graduating from Tupelo High School in Tupelo, Mississippi (the birthplace of Elvis Presley). In 1992, Matt enrolled at Mississippi State University. While in college, Matt worked at the Frito-Lay manufacturing plant in Jackson, Mississippi during alternating semesters from 1993 to 1996.

In 1998, Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Mississippi State. After graduation, he joined the gubernatorial campaign for then-Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Following the campaign, he served as a regulator for the Arkansas Public Service Commission, inspecting natural gas lines throughout the state. After leaving state government, Matt became a life insurance agent for New York Life and received his securities registration from the National Association of Securities Dealers, passing the Series 6 and 63 examinations on the first try and on the same day.

In 2000, Matt joined the staff of the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he served as a research analyst in the ministry’s partner communications department. While living in Oklahoma, Matt realized that in order to help people more efficiently, he needed to become an attorney. In 2003, Matt enrolled at Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2006, Matt received his Juris Doctor and was admitted to the Mississippi Bar later that year. In 2009, he was admitted to the Tennessee Bar, and in 2011 he became a registered patent attorney.

He has been married for more than 18 years to his wife, Amy, whom he met in college. They have a son and a daughter.

Areas of practice:

Probate
Estate Law
Commercial Lititgation
Patent Law"

One more thing: Merkel will demand Leo, Kobe and Lindsey produce any written statements given to the NCAA.

So because things could potentially get thrown out we should just ignore them? Even though chances are they actually happened and we were f'ing sloppy as hell.

I think most the level headed fans are advocating that.

Definitely sloppy as hell. Need to implement the Sagan doctrine and let the boosters know this shite ain't cutting it anymore.

I think it's odd the media isn't questioning the the accusations, after reading Ole Miss' answers to the claims.

Most are acting as reporters and not journalist. Journalist would seek facts and question the information looking for the truth.

Columnist and and tv personalities believe 2 rival players are to be believed at their word.

Why? Doesn't Ole Miss and those associated with Ole Miss stand to lose more attempting to pay and give away gear to local players that were known state lean recruits, when the NCAA is right their in your living room?

All the pundits thought Farrar was going to throw Hugh Freeze under the bus, but what he came out and said was quite the opposite of what everyone thought. Not much being said about that at all. Not much was ever reportted about Tunsil's statement that lead everyone believe he was receiving money from coaches, after nothing could be substantiated by the NCAA.

Rebel Rags has all the right in the world to protect the owner's livelihood and those who work there.

The booster who is supposed to have paid the player has every right to protect his affiliation with Ole Miss and his reputation.

But pundits want to side with the players and protecting players who admitted to receiving money and impermissible gifts?

The NCAA can make their decison base on their findings, but if you penalize a school multiple millions of dollars they should expect a lawsuit for their unsubstantiated claims to follow.

In a court of law, they will have to justify their actions.

The NCAA will either have to bacl off and settle with the self imposed sanctions that Ole Miss has offered, or they will be embarrassed again when their asses are faced with justifying their actions in a court of law.

Meanwhile, Michigan football's trip to Rome cost approximately $750-800k and was paid for by an anonymous donor

We'll be left with the self-imposed sanctions most likely

Chances are that Leo got the free merchandise?

Not a chance.

Chances are that Leo got paid $11,000? Again, he has no evidence. It was impossible for our "booster" to be in the backwoods of Lincoln County from Ridgeland in the time on the cell phone.

Did you and your friends get free merchandise from Ole Miss?

Meanwhile, part deux, Louisville just got four years probation and their basketball head coach suspended for six games because of a coach-organized brothel explicitly in existence for the purpose of crootin'

Wth are you talking about? OM made a compelling argument. One that might actually work. That being said we admitted to some of Lying Leo's testimony. You can't just act as if that isn't the case.

Regardless of what gets thrown out. Freeze was the coach and his staff as well as our boosters have been extremely sloppy throughout in most cases knowing that the NCAA is in town investigating!

I would have fired Freeze and moved on. We pay him nearly 5 million, we can get whatever coach we need who isn't sloppy!

Hate to be a NegaReb, but I absolutely do not believe this sentiment. We can get a lot of coaches, but if we're damaged goods, we're not getting a guy worth $5m right off the bat following whatever sanctions we get. Plus, we ended up hiring initially Freeze because we were rebuffed by bigger names like Kirby Smart

Correct me if I am wrong but we basically admitted that LL was introduced to boosters and that BF was not forthcoming (nice way to say lied).

We are getting hit with something the question is of what level....what I don't like is that the leak yesterday of the booster names being released came from a reporter in Indiana. Could be via Barney's attorney but considering her work history I think it is more than likely coming from Indianapolis.

I am always shocked at how delusional fans can be of any team regarding who will actually come to coach there.

Look at the last 10 or so hires in the SEC. We're talking Bert, Butch, Smart, Muffin, Mac....Orgeron Part Deux For frick's Sake.

That is the coaching standard out there right now. And we are a bottom tier program staring multiple year scholly losses in the face. We will be lucky to get a young up and coming assistant.

Personally I am in favor of firing Freeze for how sloppy he has been as explained above. But I am not expecting to get much to replace him with. We are looking at a Steve Sloan level hire again. Best case scenario.

Haven't read the Louisville penalties.

All they got was 4 years probation and 20% of games for Slick?

They're also to forfeit a ton of games, including a Natty. Its not like they weren't there and they didn't win though. It's not like Calipari rode an ineligible Derrick Rose to the championship game. It's not like Reggie Bush won the Heisman. I'd gladly give up "appearing in" (slash "winning") consecutive NY6 Bowls if we can get back to the prior status quo without getting put under a harsher colonoscopy than UNC should've received. Only haters can argue our actual games played, and that's a minimal cession if it means we can keep doing the Hugh Freeze thang, albeit hopefully with better conference-approved cheating under the radar

Here's the thing about vacating wins: isn't that usually a penalty when athletes implicated in the scandal participated in the games? I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone who played in the sugar bowl team is mentioned in the NOA other than tunsil who already sat out his 7 games
