That's a bit of relief from the guy who knows how to edit shite. I feel a little better.

There were also out of order time stamps. If tunsil had just denied we would have been golden

I don't think Tunsil knew what question he was answering.

What kills me is that the sports journalists took the blurb, and ran with it. I don't recall hearing a single journalist asking Tunsil to clarify or confirm his statement. Isn't that what journalists do?

I tweeted this last night

Whoever faked it missed a couple important details. But there are meme generators online that even do a better job than this.

There are iPhone messages? All I saw was Instagram messages that are clearly different than text messages.

It was on his Instagram, but it was a screen capture of faked iPhone/ipad SMS messages.

Also if it was real that still might not be a killer. This article goes over how rent and power bills could be paid by the school and not be a infraction. It just comes down to if the school has already been up front with the NCAA. Time will tell.

Screenshot from an iPad, the balloons don't extend that far on iPhone.

Not saying they are real but I don't think anyone would photoshop that. It's too easy to just change the dates on two phones, make a fake contact, and type the messages out. Maybe they were just dumb though.

But are the time stamps the same on iPads?

I think you can make it show the time stamps, honestly I don't know though. It's just hard to say anything definitively since a lot depends on your settings and the release version. And God knows apple loves rolling out 87,000 releases.

This would have obviously been a previous release, and you used to be able to permanently show all time stamps. Now you have to swipe I think, pull your finger from right to left on your message screen and it should pull them up for your iPhone.

Just to clarify, those are Instagram DM's. It's not a text conversation because the hacker would have to hack his iCloud and I have serious doubts that Tunsil would've saved that conversation or taken screenshots of it.

I'm seeing some justification rolling around this morning that there's an NCAA sanctioned fund that every school has to help student athletes out with certain finances and that rent and utilities could be covered by it. Came from Parrish Alford.

Y'all familiar with this at all?

I just assumed that the stepdad took screen shots off Tunsil's iPad since they are dated around the time all that shite went down.

I've never sent an IG DM so I wasn't aware of what they looked like, makes a lot more sense though and explains why/how the hacker got access to them.

I think it's for like health concerns and other unforeseen expenses, pretty sure rent isn't part of that.

We should just pay them, players and/or their parents potentially being in poverty while they play is just dumb.

Agreed.

Yeah I wasn't sure. It seemed like a reach and I've only seen OM sites report on it.

I think they are actually Twitter DM's. Looks just like it anyway.
