The fear is real.

About 12 posts on the front page and numerous other threads recently too many to count.

They keep bringing up history. They are trying to troll us while they can.

I don't want to be overconfident, I feel we do best when the odds are against us.
And I want the team to have that mentality.

I actually think we win unless the defense collapses or Chad Kelly becomes Kenny Trill

It is a real concern, but I highly doubt it happens. He was proven in Juco, now he is shining because he has NFL caliber receivers. I think Chad will lead the offense well, I'm mostly worried about the O-line and the defense.

Ditto

I'm also worried about stupid penalties that are bound to happen (targeting, celebrations, etc)

Kenny Trill didn't have a defense to lean on when he stumbled.

This Bama / LSU frickfest due to y'alls success and Auburn headed to the swamp is unlike anything I've seen on the rant in awhile.

I'm more worried bout bullshite REC penalties.

fricking Alabama home cooking, but the entire nation will be watching on prime time.

So if they pull some shut again it's risky. But they'vedone it before. .. Last year.. The shitty spot.. The Doyle Jackson bull shite

O-line penalties I understand. Celebrations are unacceptable.

90% LSU fans 10% Bama. It is amazing how LSU fans are more rustled than Bama with tFlood.

Gotta play good enough to beat the Refs, too.

An OL without Tunsil vs that front 7 might make Aaron Rogers look like Kenny Trill

I've always been amused at the amount of spite we garner from several fanbases relative to our success. It's flattering

Bama's front seven is really geared towards stopping a rushing attack. They have not been extremely skilled at getting after a QB. That being said I think we have to be able to get a marginal rushing attack established and I am afraid we will struggle to do so. My other fear is that our D has allowed to many decent rushes between the tackles. It will be extremely difficult to get lateral on us but if Henry or Drake can get to the second level in touched we will be hurting quickly.

Not to sound too much like a MSU fan, but our defense schemes have been very bland the first 2 games because they could be. We didn't do a lot which is why we only have 1 sack. Bama will run, but I read the last 2 years bama has only averaged a bit over 3 ypc against us and we have a few bigger boys to put in there now.

There's a lot at play right now. It's a shitshow.

It's interesting that the typically level-headed Alabama posters are worried about the game and detailing why they're worried. The dipshit Bama fans are acting like, well, dipshit Bama fans.

I think it would be silly for either side to think they've got this one in the bag.

Yep. This will be a lot like last year and come down to a couple lucky breaks (gifted fumble-TD before half, gifted fumble KO, Endzone pick, etc)

My fear is that freeze has been letting Kelly sling it around because we were playing shite teams and come saturday it will be a ton of Walton up the middle for no yards

I take it all back, this is my biggest fear. When Freeze plays conservative, they become a different team. Can't kill momentum, let Swag loose.

The fear is real.

I've never seen so many LSU fans dickriding Bama, or for that matter so many Bama fans who weren't cocksure about the certainty of victory. Which event would go further toward sustaining their fear that Freeze is rebuilding us into a real force: actually repeating against Bama, or the top-five recruiting class we will sign next Spring?

The only thing that has me worried is the O Line. Without Tunsil as the anchor, Bama's going to be collapsing the pocket and jamming the run, and Kelly will be running for his life. If the O Line holds, we can win. If not, we're fricked.
