I used to dominate wing night at Frank's for, I don't know, about three years.

Getting pumped for Carnival.
Next Friday night, the debauchery will begin. Hate I'm gonna miss Muses. I caught a shoe last year, but then gave it to some little kid because I'm not a grade A a-hole. In my experience, Muses always seems to get the whole town a little drunk, for whatever reason. Let me be more specific, the lawyers at the firm that I clerked at in school used to get sloppy on Muses Thursday and then show up late to work that next Friday. It was cool though, everyone was checked out by then anyways.

I'm on the road going back home from Oxford! We just bought a condo there and were moving in some stuff and having the painters/contractors do their thing. Funny story, I actually lived there for a year in school back in 2003...like the exact same unit. To say it needed some upgrades was an understatement. I'm pretty pumped, and this is gonna make traveling back more frequently a hell of a lot easier with a toddler for games. Unfortunately eating an extra cheese and greasy gyro from Volta and washing it down with a dozen bourbons on the square last night probably wasn't the brightest idea considering I'm driving for seven hours today. Pray for me as I hit every truck stop between here and Dallas.

Yeah that's blazing. I used to make the drive from Ft Worth to Southaven once a month and that took around 7 hours.

Southern Miss Life: frick Hattiesburg sucks

It's getting better. End Zone is moving into the old Vickie's/Walnut Circle downtown. I'll be able to crawl home. Yay. Maybe they'll bring some smoked-up ceiling tiles and old fryer grease with them.

Murky Waters BBQ from the Coast is opening a place on Hardy, also.

What's everyone doing this weekend?

Try Hattiesburg to Dallas twice a week. That was brutal.

I was lucky enough to avoid it most of the time getting in and leaving. My house there was on one side of University Park (Greenway Parks) and my office was on the other (tip of Uptown), so no real rush hour problems there, either. Just had to drive through UP and SMU everyday. Lots of talent.

Great town. Good people. Got divorced. Have only been back once.

I don't frick around on road trips. I wake up two hours before the arse crack of dawn and drive like a bat out of hell with zero stops. Ended up being a tad over my estimate because half of Dallas took off early for the three day weekend and I hit rush hour like traffic at two in the afternoon.

I had to drive from Shreveport to Tupelo a couple weeks ago and going 80 mph it took me about 7 hours. You added basically 2 hours to that drive and do it in same amount of time. Watch out for those LA Troopers with their lasers.

She was nutz. I would never wish my experience of marriage and divorce on my worst enemy.

On a scale of 1-10, she was a 17 with the knob ripped off.

Like she wrote with a sharpie on her face cra-cra or biggest bitch in the world?

Once had a GF that was a huge cra-cra bitch but stayed with her for a full extra year past the point that I knew what she was because the sex was mind boggling.

Like she drank too much and decided she knew how best to moderate her crazy drugs. She had three settings: (1) crying depressed, (2) uber bitch, and (3) screaming count. Throw in some caffeine, alcohol, adderall and anti-depressants, and that right there is a recipe for disaster.

Of course, this all would have been good to know beforehand. But that's the price paid for a long distance relationship. And like you said-the sex was phenomenal.
