Have seen multiple 3/4 star commitments this morning! Currently ranked 34 in 247 composite with 21 total commitments (2 4 Stars, 18 3 stars, 1 2 Star). Glad to see Freeze and the staff working to pull together a decent class.

Depth building class. Some guys will turn out to be pretty good, most will suck/be average. Just needed a bit of depth at certain positions and I think we are getting it with this class.

We go into next year with depth and talent at WR and possibly OL, and we have a QB who should be farther along. We now at least should have enough bodies at LB to where we don't have to keep converting TEs. We've been underrecruiting on DL, particularly at DT, so hopefully we stay healthy. Depth going in to Freeze's fifth year is still not where it should be. Not ideal, but could be worse, and hopefully we don't get hit with a wave of injuries again

That's the thing.

Freeze's first year we didn't have any injuries not one but every year after that we've had significant injuries.

Everybody has injuries. Depth to overcome them separates really good teams from pretty good ones

Landing Davis and Reed today helps with DL depth, though neither look like game changers

Reed was taken at OL and is likely going to have to go to JUCO

This class wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and surely wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Counting on a lot of 3-stars as future depth is not a winning proposition if you want to win big in the SEC.

I get what you are saying tho. It could have been worse I think, but we won't really know for a while.

Fifth year seniors who want to be Rebels will always be quality special team guys and 3rd options.

John Youngblood comes to mind, he had some quality efforts during his career.

We shall see. I'm of the opinion we need 5 consecutive seasons of top 10 recruiting in order to have the necessary depth to win the SEC.

Just look around, there are some really good schools in the SEC. I do believe, Throwing the ball is the key, and I believe that CHF's offense will continue to give the Rebels their best chance at winning the SEC.

After 5 years of the NCAA hanging out in Oxford, this ain't a bad class. Freeze did make note that other schools were hammering hard about the emenit sanctions.

Next years recruiting class should be a solid bounce back.
