here. CJ committed to OM at Dan Mullens house? Aaron and woody?

That's what he says. Aaron Morris and Woody Hamilton verify it too. Aaron is now a client of mine

He was. It just wasn't anything new. He basically rehashed the same story that came out when the NOA did.

I thought Thamel was pretty fair.

The content was old news unless you never bothered to read the response to the NOA. However, there was a noticeable slant to the article in my opinion that basically is calling the NCAA out....even though there really isn't any one thing with this staff that would stand out to require major sanctions. It's more a volume of really rather minor things and Saunders.

And add to that, a bunch of articles and opinion pieces that site Thamel's piece as their source of information. It's all a bunch of terrible journalism. I have very little respect for the profession. Everyone tries to make a name for themselves by the detriment of other parties. It's really just self marketing and "look at me" stuff.

You don't even know the half of it. But in my experience, you are correct. It is a lot of attention grabbing. That is how you make it. Some of the best journalists are people you don't think about that much. Nate Silver and his crew are top notch.

So, apparently this wasn't the hit piece. This was just a fluff piece where aa guy jumped the gun to get out in front of SEC Media Days.

The real "hit piece" is actually at least three different exposes being spun by hard core journalists at ESPN, CBS, etc.

So, I guess now that Media Days are here, the next shoe(s) is ready to drop.

Wonder if it will come before or after the 2nd Letter?

ESPN article today said Freeze received a love letter from Tunsil.

Hardly a #HitPiece.

I think the timing of the piece is significant. If it is a robust piece of journalism, I think it drops today to give the press time to research questions for Freeze

If it drops tomorrow, that just seems like an attempt to confuse everyone into thinking there is more substance

I guarantee that it will happen Friday so that Freeze and Ole Miss have no press time to defend or answer to any information. Of course, it will be the same old stuff that's been out for 6 months but it will be spun in a way that looks like more has been uncovered.
