How much of a difference does it make if he is on the field in Oxford 10/12? Does it go from a "toss up" to a "probable" win? Or from "doubtful" to "toss up"?

What do you think their record will be if he doesn't play all year?

BTW, their backup is a 6'4" 250# fat kid, Matt Joeckel, whose twin was the #2 pick in the draft as an OL I believe. At the beginning of last year he was #3 or #4 on their depth chart.

After that they have 3 freshmen QBs on the team.

Just curious what the Bear Rant thinks.

Obviously if he doesn't play out odds increase exponentially. But then again you don't know how good a backup is until he's on the field playing. Who knows

There team is still talented. They have a couple of nice running backs and the OL should still be good.

Not sure if they have the offensive power to hold up, with the lack on the defensive side of the ball.

Their schedule is cupcake from a SEC standpoint. I think we'd win. It wouldn't be THAT easy though.

I find that hard to believe.

The general consensus on this board and others is something like: Bo Wallace healthy = 8 wins. Bo gets hurt, and we will be lucky to win 5.

In practice, JFF won more games for TAMU last year than Bo Wallace won for us.

I think losing him is a huge blow to their team.

It goes from slight A&M lean to SLIGHT OM lean.

IF we are as good as I think we will be.

Agreed, simply because we have no clue what their backup would be capable of.

Regardless, I expect TAMU's defense to suck balls next year.

If they lose JFF their team will quit. That would be like Eli being declared ineligible and saying ole miss would still be good. I understand they have better talent but you don't just replace him 3 weeks before the season. We would be the better team for sure.

With JFF, I think this is a probable loss. I think Ole Miss keeps it close in the game but I believe A&M pulls it out. As much as I don't like to admit it, JFF is a solid player and can change close games

Without JFF, Ole Miss curb stomps A&M. A&M is missing a number of players on defense plus they are lose 2 OLine and a number of WRs which makes their offense go. Replacing one WR with a FR isn't a big deal, replacing multiple WRs with FR or so and without a solid QB and your team will experience growing pains.

With JFF A&M, 35-27

Without JFF, Ole Miss 35-21

There's no way they suspend him for our game
