Lots of positive leaks it seems.

Combine that with some of our detractors backpedaling on Twitter this week and you've gotta feel like we're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

As always, frick Houston Nutt and frick Chris Vaughn... Hope those guys never get to coach a collegiate athlete ever again.

Break down the positive leaks. I know about the Max Howell stuff but nothing else.

That Jack Lambert character absolutely burns with hate. He's a case study.

There are so many raw emotions over there. All their insecurities, both personal and professional, are just laid out bare for the world to see.

It's beautiful.

The scary thing is that there are still people in this world who are so ignorant, racist and tone deaf to society. The fact the majority of them are fans of that particular team is not surprising at all to me.

On different note there is a guy (who claims no alliegence) on the Scout board claiming pretty specific inside scoup that it all revolves around the Inn at Ole Miss. Any word on that?

Ok someone break down what Howell and others are saying? Is it more than Howell is proven to be out to get us for Old South stuff? Is there more to it than that? I want to lead the charge to piss people off on the tRant all week until Thursday.

EDIT: I meant Howard not Howell

What Howell said was good news not bad so idk where the "out to get us" comes from. He said that the NCAA investigation is over and they will accept our self imposed penalties. I guarantee the "others" are just "hearing things" based simply off of what Howell said. If this process hasn't taught you anything, it should teach you not to believe anything you hear and the truth is somewhere in the middle. One side you have the Forde article reaction which means guaranteed bowl ban, the other says that they will accept our penalties and this is wrapping up. I would assume a more severe penalty than what we proposed and it to stretch into April without any sort of major penalty like a bowl ban.

My fault I meant Howard not Howell. What's the story with the investigator is what I meant. My fault.

Howard is the lead investigator and a week before he sat down with Miller, he made a Facebook post against the confederate flag and those who say people should move on from being offended by it.

So is this actually going to affect the investigation that this information went public? Or is this just OM fans hoping it will?

Is this possibly the OM administration fighting fire with fire by leaking this information, or better yet showing people where this information could be found?

OM didn't leak it. One of the crazies stalked his Facebook and went through a year+ of posts. It would help our case to prove there is a vendetta and emotions are involved. Not sure how much but it's a plus for us and explains why the process has been thuan long

Until there is some kind of official notice from the NCAA, there is no new investigation. We have the NOA and given our response. This would mean the NCAA would take our response and both parties try to come to an agreement. The Tunsil draft night bed shatting garnered another look but unless they found something, and all inside sources say they didn't, then this thing is over. The Forde article made the NCAA look bad. "Witch hunt" was mentioned several times. I like that.

My understanding is that the only thing to work out is the Hughes piece. We are arguing that this is not an L1. That is the delay.

Ole miss will struggle with FSU. FSU Defensive line will knock down 25% of Kelly's passes and FSU defense will have minimum three interceptions. Ole Miss will look bad in this game.

Well, that can't be right because the Mississippi State and Bama folks on the Rant said that Ole Miss will have to forfeit all games they have ever won and will win this year, won't be able to field a football team until sometime around 2025 and must bulldoze Vaught-Hemingway to the ground and cut down the trees in the Grove and salt the earth there.

Or something like that.
