Jefferson back at practice after knee surgery.

Benito (spinal x-rays) partial participant at practice

Bowie (concussion) dressed for practice

Sheppard and Sims - no practice

Knox questionable for So. Bama.

A few years ago at one of the Rebel Road Shows, I saw Freeze standing out in front of the place prior to it getting started. I walked up to him and introduced myself. I tried to make small talk with him. He basically walked away, to the point of being rude.
Never cared for the guy after that.

Sorry Sorant lol, I was just going with it since its a joke with different alters. I was honestly hoping it was you joking around. But then I got to thinking that you can't put any stupid aside when it comes to them.

If he is back at practice it had to be something minor.

Chuck R. from the Spirit said that Coatney moving ahead of Speaks is the biggest surprise of the camp.

Also that Roach and Peeler are upgrades from Kiffen/Grant (who were good coaches).

It was a fraternity initiation that led to the Wal-Mart charges against the 2 boneheads. They "faked" the self-scanning machine, not knowing that the "dummy" register in loss-control room was showing that the merch was not tallying up. (They were trying to pocket the $150 for themselves.)

Hope Bjork has counseled the entire athletic dept with this info.

Touched briefly on the RR case that will be used before the COI, especially that RR has never used security tags.

Compared the Tunsil loaner car with a similar case at Stanford a year prior to Tunsil.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Roach and Peeler would've said the exact same thing regardless of their job or university and that Webster and Bing-Dukes had no ties to Greek life when they were accused of dumbassery. Regarding the latter, it does the school no justice to argue that these kids committed crimes on behalf of a "fraternity," nor do I think any actual fraternity at Ole Miss would ever have someone as notable as starting football players commit public crimes in a town the size of Oxford. We can spin bad press about as well as any school considering what's already happened, and if not we've had ample opportunity, but if the AD (department, not Bjork specifically) is trying to spin things onto campus itself, especially re: donors who were in fraternities who represent most of our independent donor funding both academically and athletically, as boosters naturally, we're pretty fricked

RR got hung out to dry, but the school absolutely cannot and will not embroil itself in those proceedings. I hope and pray that RR has the capital to withstand its claim, and I do truly believe most of the RR bullshite is just that, bullshite. Still, fake football court doesn't give a flying frick about a booster's livelihood unless their $$$ touches a player directly, and the NCAA has made it clear that they won't relent until they can blame someone, other than Freeze considering they can't do shite to him in his face anymore unless they show-cause him, for the SEC bullshite in which every member institution plays some part. You're not truly cheating until you win games you "can't" win

The State guys on another board don't seem too impressed with this article.

Exactly. Most SEC fans will have this same response, but especially state fans. This story combined with the Moncrief story gives a peak inside of how the NCAA works. I'm growing apathetic to college athletics because of the NCAA and their hypocritical bullshite.

This story along with the Moncrief one should give fans of any team pause. The NCAA is a sham organization that makes billions off the backs of these "student athletes". I really don't see what's stopping the bigger universities from joining together and reaping the monetary rewards and just cut the NCAA out.

The "school" is not advocating for the 2 Walmart boneheads. They have to stand before the judge themselves. The Spirit is a private company and Chuck is reporting what he got from the LB's father, who immediately came from Georgia to UM when his son called from the police station. The father had a good man-to-man talk to the player.

The fraternity gave them $150 to buy cleaning supplies for some sort of initiation ritual. They wanted to slide the merch by the check-out scanners and keep the money.

That makes way more sense. Initially it seemed like you were saying the fraternity put them up to it, which seemed crazy. Still, I'm not sure what fraternity does an initiation before fall rush
