Why do you have "re-rank last year's class" and then only do HS?
Based on known skill/play time this season:
1. Shepard - Only meets half the criteria above, but this dude is the real deal. Tee and Webster will be absurd the next two seasons.
2. Haynes - There is nothing I can say, except he should probably be #1, but still has to improve his run defense.
3. Webster - Stud. He's lockdown as they get. Excited for the next three seasons.
4. Cooper - Has been solid. We've never had any luck from JUCO OT's, but he has been consistent. Not great by any means, but our OL would be an absolute disaster if he had not been game-ready. Definitely deserves more praise.
5. Taylor - Been a great filler as a true freshman, obviously great things to come from this kid.
6. Russell - Good leader, works hard. Has done more than I expected already.
7. Pack - Has made some clutch catches...just a matter of time. Hopefully, we move him and Quincy outside next season, because we will lose Treadwell and Core the following season.
8. Hampton - Safety takes time to learn. Will definitely be at the top of this list when it's all said and done. Watch film of Prewitt early in his career...made the same mistakes CJ is making.
9. Moore Twins - Refuse to separate them
10. Gates - I can't believe I'm ranking him and the three above so low. Great class.
11. Wunderlich - will be a stud. Young and the constant flipping between him and Fletcher can't be helping his mental side of the game.
12. Liggins - this ranking is more on the coaches than Liggins. Needs to be used more. Will be used a lot more next season, I would assume.
Judd - NEED TO SEE THIS KID. We need a 220+ lb RB in the worst way. Wish he could have been ready to go for this season.

We need to give up that stupid fricking short-yardage package with Liggins in the shotgun.
fricking idiotic. They know what is coming and running out of the shotgun when you need one yard is fricking dumb.

I agree than any short yardage should be under center, but the Liggins shotgun handoff to Wilkins worked pretty well vs Tennessee I think it was.

Put Liggins and OT and let him make a ton of money on the NFL and help us as well.

Platoon QB systems don't work, more often than not.
It kills the QB's and the offense's rhythm when we up and switch QBs all of a sudden, especially when Liggins only runs up the middle on short-yardage situations.
Give his fat arse a number in the seventies and put him on the OL.

Problem being hes not so sharp..
Going to take this offseason to get him ready, and slowly teach him blocking schemes.. but I think he will be an Og/ot/ all purpose TE next year

Liggins on the Right side of the OL would help our running game a ton.. Moving in and out all our OL.. Some of the kids lining vs him would just give up.

For everyone that wonders why isnt Liggins playing tackle right now, this answers it. He's a 300lb TE and we are team having trouble running the ball. If he was an effective blocker dont you think we would line him up next to Laremy and run left? He's not playing tackle this season for a reason.

After one week's worth of practice he was already the best player of the '14 class but you're right, lets see it on the field.
