That's great... but should Shea transfer or stay?

Depends on what he thinks is his best path to the NFL. If he transfers, he'll be committing to two more years in college (unless the NCAA waives the requirement for OM players).

If he stays, he can go pro after next year. But he's relying on the next staff to help him develop and showcase his strengths enough to make him a high pick.

So really depends on his confidence in the next staff. If he thinks he'll get good coaching, there's enough talent around him on offense to warrant staying. Otherwise, he should bail.

He can leave 3 years after his sr. year in HS, per the union in the NFL. See Maurice Clarett.

Agree. He isn't ready for SEC play. His high passes make his WR open for a rib bruising.

I see why he would leave, but I wouldn't advise it unless we got a two year bowl ban which I dont think we will. Either way he is going to be learning a 3rd system in as many years. May as well stay with a solid group of WRs that you are familiar with.

If he transfers, he sits out that third year (unless he drops down a division, which won't happen, or the NCAA gives OM players a transfer waiver, which might happen). He's not going pro following a year on the sideline.

Shea isnt good enough to leave after his junior year so transferring doesnt matter.

What you or I or any fan thinks of his ability means nothing. What matters in his decision making is whether he thinks he's an NFL QB.

Well when he asks for a draft grade and they tell him he might get picked up in free agency he will be back for a fourth year.
