Predictions for the Florida game

I've strangely not felt as good about this game as I did the Bama game, but I think it's going to be a lot like the A&M game last year. I was worried going into that game because of the hostile environment and the fact that A&M had a energized, decent team, but our defense simply took over and won us that game. Give me 2 random predictions and then you're prediction of the score
1. Tunsil won't play and people will be pist
2. We run the ball 30+ times
3. Rebs win 24-14

1. Swag has an average game throwing for 250 with 2 TD's and one INT. (Well that would be below average for Swag)
2. Both teams have a pick 6.
3. Ole Miss wins 31-17.

First off not concerned about playing in the that atmosphere. We just walked into BDS at night and walked out with a win. But not only that the crowd never seemed to have an impact on our offense.
1. Game is tied 14-14 at some point.
2. VH3 misses some game time due to his lower back.
3. Rebs win 27-17

Freeze finds ways to hype the team for these matchups. It's one of his best talents, with recruiting and religion completing the trilogy.
It'll be a close game, but I don't think Florida can put up the points needed in OM stays mistake free. Your defensive trench game is top notch.

I'm nervous about this game.
Then again, I was nervous about the atmosphere before the Alabama game this fall and the A&M game last fall.
I hope to see us take advantage of the lack of talent of Florida's linebackers and their poor tackling and attack the middle of the field and flats, as they are going to play two safeties deep and make Kelly keep everything in front of them. We're all aware of the talent they have in the secondary and their defensive line is good as well. Kelly will have to get the ball out quick and attacking the sides of the field is paramount, IMO.
They are balanced on offense, but their offensive line is merely solid. They've allowed 5.0 sacks and 9.0 TFL in conference play. For comparison purposes, we have 1.0 sack and 15.0 TFL in conference play. Simply put, I expect the Landshark defensive line to be in the Florida backfield the entire night. This, to me, is the key to the ballgame - we never let their offense get started.
Additionally, Grier has been pedestrian in conference play: 56.3% completion percentage, 2 TDs, 2 INTs, 113.9 passer efficiency rating. The Landshark secondary needs to feast on this young quarterback. For comparison purposes, we are allowing SEC QBs to complete 54.5% of their passes, 4 TDs, 3 INTs, and a spectacular 101.7 passer efficiency rating (2nd nationally out of all Power Five teams that have played at least two conference games ).
And the Gator fans on tRant said our secondary was soft too. So, yeah, there's that.
Their defense will get their stops, as they're a salty bunch. However, if Kelly can keep the ball in our hands and Freeze doesn't derp as a playcaller, I think we have a good shot to pull out a solid, hard fought victory in a tough environment.
We both have solid, above average punters. It should be noted that they are 3/6 on field goals and 0/1 in the conference while we're 6/7 overall and 5/6 in the conference.
The playcalling must get better this Saturday night, or we'll all be sweating bullets.

This game scares the hell out of me:
I'll give two versions, negareb and swagreb
Negareb:
1: Gator defense absolutely shuts down Kelly, following vandy's defensive gameplan but with much more talented players
2: Gator pass rush sacks Kelly several times, O line basically collapes
3: Grier goes manziel on us and converts several 3rd/4th and longs
4: Rebel defense subsequently gets gassed from being on the field too long
Result: Gators win 17 - 7
UNLOCKTHESWAGREB:
1: Chad Kelly bounces back and realizes this is the SEC, he stops staring down receivers, starts going through progressions, improves his dink and dunk game, and eviscerates the gator defense
2: Rebel defense, after being more like a manatee defense the past 4 games, they finally morph back into the landshark D they claim to be. Elston gets another pick, headhunter haynes and nkraken get a couple of sacks
3: Special teams doesn't screw up
Results: Ole Miss 27 - Gata 10
Hopefully it is swagrebresults

I think the biggest thing will be to keep Florida's front seven off balance. They do like to get after the QB and one of the best ways to quiet down an attacking DE is run at him. Factor in the lack of talent/depth at LBer we may be able to run effectively against them. Believe it or not UT ran for more yards than their average this week and we should do likewise. If we can get them to respect the run it should open up the passing attack where no matter what the Florida homers say they are not going to "lock down" all our receiving threats every play.

If we lose to Florida because of the same gameplan Vandy ran then we deserve to lose. Surely the coaches have prepared for that scenario.
For the life of me I'd give anything to see a WR drag route. For some reason everything in this offense in the passing game is vertical. Not a lot of routes designed to come across the field. (We run some slants but those aren't drags)

I predict Florida fans and Jim mcelwain will have a plethora of excuses post game.
We were dehydrated.
Vernon Hargreaves is playing at 8%
We scheduled our flu shots the week of the game? And we're weak?
We game planned for late my tunsil, him not being in threw off our defensive game plan.
( why the hell would you schedule flu shots during game week?)
I always get sick right after the flu shot anyway. No way I would risk the whole team not to mention against a power opponent... New Mexico State maybe... #3 and conference game, dumb.
I've never had anything against Florida fans but this banter recently is a little much. Not even normal troll stuff. I hope we crush them.
It feels good to be hated by msg board posters, we must be doing things right.

I'm hoping one of the reasons the rebs had a terrible outing against the dores was because they were prepping and looking ahead to Florida.
I also want to see some bubble screens to Stringfellow

I feel the same. I hope and pray that we kept the game plan static for Vandy and will come out playing small ball: looking underneath in the flats and for shorter yardage routes. Going for the whole enchilada is great, but beyond the offensive gain aspect, it would be to our advantage to keep the offense on the field a little longer, and give the defense a breather. Of course, changing game plans to fit opponents has never been Freezus' forte, and there usually is not a workable Plan B when an opponent catches on.
Tl;DR: I scared.
