Our response: I am confused, how about you? Is this bad?

Please feel free to leave the koolaid and take off the glasses and talk to me...
We need a very short explanation to what just happened.
I am not encouraged by the response and have been waiting on a spin that works for me. So far here is all I got.
The NOA has no new info. But there is that Tunsil presser textgate floating around. So we hope that they just roll it all up into one but not sure.
Bottom line is we are accused of 16k in impermissible benefits, the 2013 class was a bargain.
None of this stuff was on Freeze they assured us but is that true? It looks like most of it was on Freeze's watch.
Why in the hell have we not been out in front of this more?

It's pretty apparent that most of it was nitpicky crap and that once Tunsil beat up his step dad, the MSU folks started to bankroll Miller to sing like a bird. This is why they were so privy to details. Now it wasn't as bad as they made it out to be but I don't see any blatant mistakes by Freeze either.
This was a hack job. All non Tunsil stuff was just a lot of small things. Hopefully the NCAA sees this and accepts our proposed penalties. That's all that really matters.

We are arguing most of it that they aren't lvl 1 violations. The runner stuff we have an explanation for. Supposedly the Kiffen paying for the hotel for the family was a miscommunication on what "real dad" meant. IDK if it will work but that is what our argument is.

All joking aside, and I know that the vast majority of it is nitpicky shite, I have a bad feeling about what may be coming for us. I feel like the NCAA will try and make an example of us and lower the boom. I just hope I am wrong. This could not have come at a worse time for us with them looking like lame ducks following their last few investigations. Do we deserve anything more than what we have self imposed? Hell no. The thing is they are between a rock and a hard place on looking completely irrelevant as an enforcement body in college football and we are the perfect scapegoats to help them feel like they are not just continually letting people off easy. Hope like hell I am completely wrong on this.
