Regardless of how you feel about Wright Thompson, this is well said. A little bit of Oxford died when Coup closed.

Coop DeVille sealed their fate when they decided to not replace/fix their card transaction machine.

I read this while listening to Nearer My God Thee, yup that has to be one of the saddest articles I've ever read.

Their food was shitty and they were always late.

Not a good combination when you're in the hospitality industry.

Seasoned customers knew this and how to order in advance.

RIP Coop

#teamBuffaloBill

Was a staple of my college career and I would always make a run by there every time I was in town

Wing Fanatic was 10x better. Unfortunately, it was also poorly run.

Thank you. Lukewarm at best. I only ever ate the sandwich. Moisture from the box destroyed the fries / onion rings. Pick up was very slightly better.

The Fanatical Chicken sandwich was 3000 calories of awesome.

No way that dude is still alive.

Wing fanatic was amazing. Fantaical fries and sweet heat wings.

Coop was the old go-to. Bacon ranchero ftw

I made my own homemade Bacon Ranchero tonight in memoriam.

It was delicious.

I hadn't had Coup in years. Since it was located close to Handy Andy/3 way area. Not sure where it was located now.

I always eat Abners when I come home. It was my first job so I just love it. Afraid it will die soon too. Both locations look shitty. Jackson Ave location hasn't changed since I worked there last in 2002. Abner White no longer owns them I was told.

Compared to other stuff in Oxford it was very shitty. I always thought it was overrated. They were open late was the only reason i liked it.
