So if we lost 8 or 9 scholarships over a 3 or 4 year period, would it really affect us since we've been undersigning every year anyway?

Also a major factor has to be that we weren't under any probation or warning from the NCAA at the time that I know of.

If Rich Brooks could still make UK a bowl regular (pre-Joker bombing the program) with the loss of 19 scholarships over three seasons, Ole Miss could certainly survive that.
FWIW, this is the Times story from our probation and we were outright paying players. This was our penalty for far worse when they still really would hammer you:

From what I understand, the latest all of this will be over is September and that's only if both parties don't mutually agree to the sanctions earlier.
If that is the case hopefully there won't be much of an impact on the '17 class since everything will long be settled prior to signing day next year.

I believe we signed 24 this class, and could have signed 31.

I think we saved a couple from the previous classes too? Either way, they could hit us with 15 and it wouldn't change a thing

I actually dont think so. Without Ole Miss to hate, what else would he do with his time? His website would flounder, seeing as all they talk about is how we're going down. It'll make his life a shallow, meager existence if you ask me.

We are going to lose scholarships but no way way ever will we lose 32 and postseason ban. No fricking way.
