Stuff like this is stupid as hell.

So this player was interviewed. Can't be Tunsil since his mother/stepfather lived in Oxford.

Could be Hampton, who I believe was interviewed.

This is why the NCAA is useless. They spend their time going after a bunch of piddly crap when Florida played a QB on PEDs and nothing comes of it! Think of all of the "benefits" that Alabama players get. I'm sure it's more than sleeping on someone's couch.

That crap is what makes NCAA dumb.. NCAA is nothing but a big waste. If it was a normal college kid nothing would be said..

So we should be happy?

I hear we might lose 11 scholarships (which would suck terribly). I also hear the investigation is over, which is it?

We have already been limiting our scholarships given. And in the meantime, we signed a top 5 class

Didn't we under sign by about 4 this year? We could have signed like 7 more in Feb. I think.

It wouldn't be 11 scholarships in one year.

It would be over 3-4 years.

And we already held off this year and last.

I don't see the number being that high though.

One thing I'm worried about is our current signees feeling lied to. Have any said anything about this?

Yes I've talked to al of them and they all say they were briefed ahead of time and none of this is new info.

Their scholarships are secure... We aren't getting a post season ban.

There is nothing to worry about. Ms state has orchestrated this whole thing.
Obviously the investigation would come out when it's over and we would release the info and the sanctions..

But ms state and Bama had to get a press release prior to signing day. And people are attacking ole miss, why haven't we released everything...
Because The sanctions have not been reached by both parties evidently.

No one pulled at Ohio state or USC prior to the findings for them to release tidbits or incomplete information.

But we are the median sacrificial lamb. And we are an sec team. And the nation wants to see the sec sanctioned and so do our fellow conference members.

If you want to be worried.

Worry about 2017, every time a recruit posts on Twitter that they received an offer from ole miss.

People are telling them, you don't want to go there they won't have a football program next year. Or they will have a 5 year bowl ban.

Yeah I wasn't worried about any from 2016 leaving but more just being upset and being a bad look for 2017. As long as the 2016 guys are still all good saying we were straight up I figure I t will help with the 2017.

Ready for this to get finished up.

We will be using some of the scholarships we didn't use this year for Mid year guys. I think I would be okay if we lost 8 over 4 years but it would still really suck. We would need Freeze to have very little to zero attrition in his next classes.

How many scholarships are we at currently? I'm not going to do the math but I'd bet were are already well below the 85 limit.

No one would really notice if we lost 8 or 9 scholarships over a three or four year period. Its really not that drastic.

That would be the same that Miami got and Miami did much much much worse. We don't deserve any of that.

Exactly. You have to compare what other schools received.

We aren't Devin shapiro ing.

How that didn't get LOic I am amazed.
