Wow! Ole Miss had coaches not following all the NCAA rules.

Guess what? Nobody is playing by the rules. This was simply a concerted effort to get Freeze out of Oxford.

I don't here any mention on a show cause for Saban for their defensive line coach they cut loose?

When you can't beat em, you try to get rid of them. State is so pathetic, they have every player they are recruiting to spy on Ole Miss. So sad.

I hope CHF decides to coach knowing he has no peers in the SEC and it's time to beat the shite out other folks.

Love nothing more than to beat everyone next season, make sure no SEC team makes the playoffs.

Karma is a bitch and what goes around comes around.

We have been the alternating door mat of the SEC with state for way too long, if you think getting rid of Freeze is the answer you are so wrong.

Some of you sound like a bunch of holier than thou bs artists.

These players aren't going to schools for the love of the school, they are looking to get paid. Unfortunately, there will always be a coach and a booster more than willing to make it happen.

Let's see how long the NCAA spends in T-town to see how much cheating has been going on there?

The NCAA won't even spend a day in t-town even though the parking lot behind their football facility looks like a mix of a dodge and chevy dealership.

This is the thing that pisses me off the most. This whole SEC family bullshite. There's a hierarchy and we aren't included. The SEC office bent over backwards for their Alabama schools and this is just a bunch of he said/ she said from players that left the program and signed with other schools. Which the NCAA has never done before. Hey, NCAA, CJ Johnson would like to talk to you about his state recruitment.
What happened with the Tunsil situation? Nothing illegal there?
So there last ditch efforts were to talk to players who signed with opposing teams. Never done before, wonder why? Better have rock solid evidence or that shite isn't going to fly.

Again, this was nothing more than an attempt to get rid of Freeze.

Ole Miss should take their 1 year bowl ban and schollie restrictions and tell the NCAA and the SEC powers that be to go frick themselves.

They are so afraid of CHF and Ole Miss, their only answer is to get rid of them.

And whoever you are posting shite like, I just want our program to be clean and go 6-6, you need to stop, you are pathetic.

5 years of investigating and this is the best BS the NCAA could come up with.

Go hang out at any top 25 program for 5 years and you will find plenty more than what is being alleged at Ole Miss.

More than half of the allegations are based on what players who signed with other schools alleged to the NCAA. The NCAA has never done that before, why the need to start now?
This was nothing more than a straight up witch hunt to get CHF out of Oxford. Folks in the SEC are scared, because they know if he stays, Ole Miss won't be sucking hind teat anymore.

I'm sorry, but I don't think you are going to get your wish and your worst nightmare is coming.

I think it's cute how people still think there's a chance freeze and bjork survive all of this.

If all we had was the first NOA we would have gotten off with a slap on the wrist. The second NOA is all on Bjork and Vitter. If we sued them and fought two years ago like we should have, Leo Lewis would have been a non-issue. The total lack of a spine by our administration is absolutely fricking embarassing. Also, people keep tossing around a one year bowl ban. I highly doubt they toss out the LOIC charges if they didn't think they could back them up and drop the hammer. LOIC does not mean a one year bowl ban and a "please don't do it again" warning, it means we're absolutely fricked and the sooner we come to terms with that, the easier it will be. Just stop having hope and setting yourself up for disappointment. It's over. /endmelt

I agree.

Also, the argument of Freeze and Bjork taking this program to a new level and that's why they should be salvaged is absurd. They are also the reason the program is where it is now... be a little realistic. Don't get me wrong, the ride was a good one, but they need to be gone so no further damage is done.

NCAA in past 5ish years has a decent track record of only making allegations they fee confident they can prove.

They got embarrassed in the Cam Newton scandal when they could find no proof. It is pretty clear they aren't going to let that happen again

TL;DR They aren't accusing you of your worst stuff, just the things they know they can hammer you kn

I can't believe anyone is still defending this shite show of an administration.

"They took us to new heights." Well guess what - they're also taking us to new lows.

I don't know that we could hit lower than we have hit in the past. Maybe back to old lows would be more accurate.

I think the NCAA is gonna hit us hard.

But I agree. It's hard to match the Orgeron era in terms of lows, but we'll probably be right back there.

What's laughable is how people are upset of how the investigation was 'handled' and not at the fact that THE COACHES CONTINED TO CHEAT WHILE UNDER AN INVESTIGATION. An intense investigation, at that. The handling of the investigation doesn't change the fact that we cheated our asses off. And don't get me the 'everybody does it' line either; we did it and got caught, now time to own up to it and face the consequence.

They deserve everything coming to them.

I think the best thing we can do is hire a coach the NCAA will want to see succeed. NCAA was light on the punishment of State because they hired Croom. Think we can all agree there is one guy the NCAA and most of America loves. Just so happens that guy turned Ole Miss down at one time because of NCAA issues. Think the time has come for him to make it up to Ole Miss and his Ole Miss family. Yes, I'm calling for the hiring of Peyton Manning as head coach of Ole Miss. Only truly good times this program has had is due to a Manning and that's what we need. Peyton has zero coaching experience but he knows play calling better than anyone. Hire Peyton and keep the current staff with the exception for Freeze and see what we can do.

I'm not completely serious because there's no way it will happen, but right now all we got is hoping for a miracle.
