Yeah sitting on it until right before media days, to increase attention viewership and clicks. With the interviews all aimed towards it at media days.

And pat forde just rolling with his bread and butter and the team the media loves to attack. What's his deal with ole miss? Mizzou alumni right?

Why not a story about The players processed and issues with Alabama and Tennesse in the last few years. I'm sure similar stories could be rounded up by interviewing those teams players. So why ole miss?

And how is this information being leaked to msu fan base who then repeats? Like that secrant troll.
Must be one of the players interviewed as the source?

And what players would have such a grudge to commit time to the interview( unless they were paid for interview)
Tee Shepard? The running backs that transferred out? Chris jones? Sammie epps?

So in that case it would actually help us in recruiting a full class if we had some juniors leave early right? Like this year having 3 leave will open up 3 spots that would have normally been taken next year from the 85?

According to Neal, Forde's source is rumored to be an NCAA investigator who had a run in with the staff and was pulled off of the investigation.

So I can't really fault Forde for capitalizing on a rare source, even if he's a click baiting douche who peaked 10+ years ago.

There's been a hell of a lot of smoke going around about an investigator that got pulled off this case.

This would explain an awful lot in regards to how certain people are getting information.....the thing is the NCAA learned a huge lesson via USCw when the Judge slammed their dick in a door for punishing for what they believed and not what they proved.

An investigator gets pulled off the case for conflicting motives improper procedure.
Surely we can use that in our decision with NCAA.

I'm sure the source will remain unnamed in the forde article. But this would make sense seeing how information has been leaking since signing day.

You would think the NCAA would not allow investigators to speak to anyone about any investigation. I guess he must have been relieved from his duties, he doesn't seem to be to worried about getting fired.

Maybe there's a law suit brewing between Ole Miss and the NCAA? Sounds as if one of their investigators has gone rouge and could lead them to having some liability issues?

So it appears it's going to be four former players for Forde's piece. Three or which Freeze didn't even recruit. Looking at Jeff Scott, Tobias, Snoop, and Dodson. The last three have sour grapes while I'm thinking Jeff is upset at being played while injured. Jeff is the starting RB for an arena team so I guess he thought Freeze hurt him from being a NFL back.

Let the down votes rain but if they are going off of anything Tobias says then they have absolutely zero credibility. Kid was an extremely gifted athlete but was coddled long before Ole Miss. He was a cancer as an upper classman in HS and was allowed to get away with all sorts of crap to include stuff that would land us average Joes in jail. That being said he didn't change one bit even after he got shown the door a Ole Miss. Hope that crying bitch likes that job at Home Depot and getting my HVAC filters.

Snoop is just as credible and what can he bitch about? He wasn't pushed out, he was academically ineligible. Hell we let him come workout for nfl scouts at our facility after he was gone. Didn't Tobias hit a girl? What's great is the one kid who Freeze recruited was told to RS and he wouldn't do it. He wanted more snaps so he goes to Memphis and they cut him. Is an article gonna come out against Memphis too?

Just more attempts at hit jobs by both the writer and unfortunately the former players. It likely will have little to no actual credibility from a legal standpoint, but it will be another slight dent on the reputation. Also, unfortunate. But let's face it fellas, this comes with the territory when you start to experience a little success. There are gonna be haters and Trojan horses and well, we are guilty of at least a few malfeasance after all.

I hope no one ever gets all of my ex girlfriends together and publishes their thoughts on the relationship after I was the one who broke up with them.

Of course these guys are disgruntled. The only one we were "married" to was Jeff Scott, and he wants to blame someone for not making it to the NFL? Blame anyone but yourself, the world is trying to keep the man down,..

I wonder what fee these guys received to be included in the article? Times are tough out there outside the network it seems

You know, they keep poking at the Black Bear, they may not like it when he wakes up.

I like that he is seeing what people think about Ole Miss.

Now go out and beat MFers to death and shut them up. Or at least give them something else to cry about, cause the tears taste pretty sweet now.

I love how all these State fans have buddies who are high level Ole Miss boosters who are giving super secret rumors like Kiffen is gone by the fall or Freeze has asked Barney to resign twice. I kid you not, but my only big dollar inside guy actually has an academic building named after him and he is getting nothing, nada, zilch from inside the Athletic Department....but supposedly all of our State buddy's have much better scoop than he does....so darn confusing

Well, if you are state, there is only one hope left. Somehow someway Freeze and Bjork get the boot. Because it's not looking good for the future for state. If Ole Miss keeps winning its going to be damn hard for state to recruit any of the top 20 players in the state. Let Ole Miss win a couple of more Egg Bowls and play in some more New Year's 6 bowl games and state will be fighting with Southern Miss for recruits.

You know you are in bad shape personally when the best you can do is hope for something bad to happen to another person in order for your position to become better.

They will slip up and get caught doing something out of desperation and end up in more trouble than Ole Miss, in the end.
