First of all, I'll NEVER forgive Freeze for losing to them last year. I don't care if we win back-to-back national championships. That is a game we should have won convincingly. shite, a miserable Auburn squad beat that same Tiger High squad by three touchdowns in the Birmingham Bowl.

I know they can score. I also know that they've played three miserable football teams at home to start the season. The line is currently Ole Miss (-14).

They currently lead the American in scoring offense and scoring defense. Again, they have played a subpar FCS team and two of the worst FBS teams, Kansas and Bowling Green.

Thoughts?

Don't overthink it. Last year was last year. It's Memphis. Try to put up 100. No lead is safe.

Do not take the foot off the gas. If, by some chance, they can score 30 or 40 (which I still would not put past our defense) then we can hopefully get 60.

Defense finally gelled this week (admittingly against a team that has a terrible passing game), but the youngins in the backfield got some great game experience against SEC caliber athletes, which is a necessity at those positions. They'll be all over Memphis's receivers and the land sharks will eat. I expect nothing less than two picks.

I posted on another board that the game will be won in the trenches where we really outmatch them. I predicted our most rushing yards ever in a single game under Freeze, and he can't lay off the gas because they can't stop Brazley in the 4th from gashing them. shite will get ugly. Speaks and Haynes will break records, and be all up in that Tiger arse.

Memphis - 45
Rebels -42

I can't wait to watch us pummel them and have been waiting a year for this, and I agree, I really don't think it'll be close.

Every QB looks good when there isn't 4 linemen in his face.

CHF has been pretty good in revenge games.

We will run the ball, and play tight on the corners and cover 2 on the back end. Plenty of punting and turnovers for Memphis this year.

The offensive line that played Memphis last season was a rag tag bunch of souls. The offensive line will look good and get plenty of work Saturday. We may run 100 plays, 60 of them will be running plays.

Can we not call them Memphis State? That is like calling State, Mississippi A&M. It's pretty terrible.

Memphis State literally had "Memphis State day" against Kansas a few weeks ago, they can still be called that.

OM wins and it's not close.

Last year was last year, this year is this year. Don't let the fact that we lost to a feisty Memphis team on the road deter you from the fact that Chad Kelly is going in raw

I kind of hate this match up but we should be fired up to play it. They have a lot of the same names they had last year that kind of dominated us after we got up 14 points.

Isn't this the game that RN got the concussion on a senseless run AGAINST TIGER HIGH! Our players thought it was a replay of Quon v. Auburn. Took our passion of the game away.

Oh, and the Tiger QB hitting the 8-yard pass all damn day.

It was more they just didn't have any fight. Even after getting up in the game. There was no fight.

Dear Bjork,

Please stop scheduling this game.

Thanks
