Well Dodson lasted at Memphis for like 4 months, and then transferred to Murray State. I think he sat out the year as well.

I was sad to see Mathers go, but I think Judd and Wilkins will be better than him next year

Well shite he wouldn't have even be eligible next year anyway haha. I'm not shedding any tears over him. Was excited about Dodson though

I really only miss Dodson on returns. I think we are getting closer to being able to run the ball like we would like. With MGK finally getting some designed runs the offense has really opened up. Wilkins, Judd, and Swinney ought to be pretty good next year. Hope we hold onto pennamon this year because I think that he and Swinney would be the true answer for us

I could get onboard with that. That's something we have been missing for a while. Not just kickoff or punt, it's both. I can't remember the last time we returned a punt for more than 6 yards.we automatically default to a fair catch every time now for the past few years and just pray we catch it.

Yeah we HAVE to be dead last this year in the return game. I can't recall a single game this year where we had much success. Maybe Carlos Davis in like the first or second game.
In the punt game I prefer for C. Moore to fair catch it. I'm certain that I'm faster than he is.

I think we redshirted a few return guys. And jalen Julius coming in. Pretty sure the last returned TD we had was Jeff Scott versus Texas on the punt. Channing ward killed a guy

I miss Dodson as well. Thought he had a ton of potential.

I have always been impressed when Brazely plays. I know most of it was during garbage time but, he's really quick and hits the hole a lot harder than most backs his size. Why doesn't he get any playing time? Is it ball security, ability to pass block, or knowledge of the play book?

There's a particular lack of fear that a player must have to return kicks and especially punts. Freeze gives Rippon a limited amount of players to try out there. Carlos Davis was perfect because he was fast and frankly, too dumb to know better than to be scared.

My guess is Houston or SMU. Maybe TCU but he'd probably never play there.
