This is probably the most underrated rivalry in the SEC by far. On paper, this should be one of the biggest matchups between the two we've ever seen, but sure enough both schools are at crossroads with assistants that have no business being at either program.

3 weeks ago I would have said Ole Miss was in big trouble. LSU's offensive line story this season reminds me of "Space Jam". The alien shits just descended into red stick and took our starting 5's talent. We went from mauling Florida to making Arkansas' front 7 look like a pro bowl lineup. I've never seen anything like it.

If LSU can rally the troops and convince the players to close strong to go into 2016 with a lot of hype (allegedly "our year"), then this will be your typical fourth quarter LSU-Ole Miss game. Unfortunately it just looks like our team invests everything into the outcome of the Alabama game. You could just feel the apathy and desperation in the stands last Saturday.

What's the feeling in Oxford right now? This just seems like a classic game where despite the disappointment, Freeze will give his best impression of my old Southern Baptist preacher, rally the troops, and get payback from last season's game.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm thinking 38-24 Ole Miss. I wish I was kidding, but LSU's secondary is struggling and the OL has forgotten they're worth a frick. Either way I'll be in Oxford this weekend to cheer the baws on.

Sounds like LSU has the same problem as us. Defensively if we play like we did against Arkansas I expect LF7 to run wild on our arse. Offensively as you said LSU's secondary has struggled as of late and I think Kelly can pass like crazy on that defense but as usual I see our RB's failing to do anything. With the combination of WAOM & PEEJ's pick I feel like we're going to blow this game.

Also do we actually use this trophy, as this thing is ugly as frick

Yeah, LSU used to play for the ugliest trophy in rivalry history with the golden boot, but LSU's student government thought bigger and uglier and came up with that piece of shite. The loser should have to keep that thing in the front of their operations center. that'd actually be an appropriate punishment since we both fight for almost all the same 'croots.

You'll hear some Kevin Steele hate, but I think he's far from LSU's problem. It took Mark Stoops two years to put in his zone defense at florida state, and Chavis/Brick haley left our front 7 totally depleted. We've just now got Mills and White back healthy in the secondary, and the rest are a bunch freshmen, sophomores, and a few underachieving juniors (Ricky Jefferson simply isn't good.). I'll give Steele a "B-". We wouldn't have beaten Florida with haley's front 4, so don't let the aggies drivel tell you otherwise.

I just hate the nepotism in Les Miles hiring Cameron. You don't get fired from your last multiple jobs because you're a badass, and you certainly don't hire a coach who was in your wedding. All we heard is that Cam Cameron was a qb coaching God, and two years in Harris would throw a slant 100 mph at my grandmother. Enough is enough.

Don't get me started on special teams. Our kicker is outstanding, but that's legitimately it as far as complements go. We have the 126th worst kick and punt coverage, so Matt Luke could bust a 60 yarder on us there

We will make Brandon Harris look like a Heisman contender. He will throw for 4 tds and 400 yards. Fournette will rush for over 200 and 2 tds. That's how bad our defense is.

Your DC is probably choking on his spit from laughing at LSU's offense the last two weeks.

I could maybe entertain your half-kidding assessment of your defense if LSU hadn't completely forgotten how to block. Seriously I've never seen anything like this, as far as an overnight decline in OL play is concerned. We ran over a few good teams in State and Florida, but that feels so long ago right now

I don't feel good about this game, but Freeze usually manages to pull one out of his arse at the end. If we beat LSU, probably get spanked by MSU and vice versa. You need to just look at UF film to get a good game plan against our D. Will Grier had terrible stats against everyone but New Mexico State and then we made him look like a Heisman contender. Seriously, UT held him to 54.8% and then he lights us up for 82.8%. If you can't up your pass game big time against us, Cameron really does suck.

I felt really good about the Arkansas game and we lost. I feel terrible about this game so we will probably win.

Our secondary is gonna make Harris look like Tom Brady and on offense we will move the ball with ease between to 20's to blow it out our asses it up in the red zone

Yeah I remember that but the new trophy doesn't look like it would hold up that much better than the old one.

The new one looks like a wooden bleacher seat.

Just terrible. I hope the loser takes that thing to the back of the head.
