He hit 240 as a freshman. And 230 as a sophomore. He's hitting like 170 this year. He has to go. I could go out there and hit 170, and probably draw more walks.
If he's good in the field, then bring him in as a late inning defensive replacement. But we've got to have someone on the bench who can hit 250 in his place.

Can't say I disagree. I'd rather have a freshman in there learning on the job. Pretty obvious Watson is what he is. Also, is it just me or does stokes look worse every time he goes out there.

We really need both of them to be way better than they have so far. Hopefully they'll find a way to get it together soon.

I cringe any time bortles walks to the plate. His at bats would make for a good drinking game.

At least he really battled in that last at bat tonight. We just don't have it right now. It happens. Either we'll come out of it or we won't. The players will keep plugging away.
