The others will have to step it up for sure. Stringfellow needs to be the guy. He needs to see Treadwell sign that big contract and get it in his head that's what he is going to work for in the offseason.

Kelly is gone. There is no reason to return.

I think it depends on his draft status. He can stay and increase his money by investing more time to improve his draft status.

A run at the SEC championship and backing up his 1 season, could put him in the first round.

He's not a first rounder at this point. He still has his personal issues hanging over him, that will keep teams from drafting him and taking a chance. He ain't Johnny Manziel with a Heisman in his back pocket...yet.

Unless he gets a first or second round grade he's staying. He can make more guaranteed money with elevated draft stock with one more year leading the SEC in passing. That's straight out of the horse's mouth

I'd leave with a 3rd round grade and just use the combine to try to improve that. Coming back next year is just as risky and there is no Laremy Tunsil on the left side..

He's considered that but the feedback he's gotten is that even with a good combine teams would view him as a project and he wouldn't be making the kind of money he desires. With a big senior year he could vault into guaranteed contract territory where the good money is made. His uncle has mirrored this view as well. So unless his draft position moves up dramatically he's coming back to ole miss.

Makes sense.

I'd love to have him back. Then you can slowly bring Patterson along.

Kelly is gone.

This is one of those times grown men can cry. Kelly might be my new favorite player, I want to see him in the Red and Blue another year, playing tough and throwing deep bombs to Lodge, Jefferson, Stringfellow, etc.

It's crazy to think that we are having this conversation when in December we were a count hair away from cutting him loose.

It had to pain Freeze to sign Kelly. He doesn't trust him off the field but then Freeze would remember that his quarterback options were RB and DK.

Unless he straight up lied to my brother's face then he's staying

Yeah I wanted him gone bad. Just didn't think it was a good look to be that careless on a 2nd chance. I don't regret how I felt. Glad it worked out though.

There's just no way he leaves IMO. Goff (god he sucks), Cook, Lynch, and Hackenburg (isn't he leaving?) will be higher ranked than he is.

Swag and String will be a thing of beauty next season. Shea learning from an experienced version of himself basically. Putting on weight and getting ready for his sophomore Heisman campaign.

Rob, Quon, and LT are gone IMO. If any come back it'll be Quon.

TC is back. He physically can't go to the combine, which will kill draft stock.

I fully expect RN Tunsil to be gone.

Laquon will be gone for 2 main reasons besides his amazing talent. A) His daughter. He has to take the money for his family. And B) he had that injury last year. I'm sure that sits in his mind still. But I won't think twice about his choice to leave. He has EVERY right to and I have loved his 3 years here.

I fully expect Connor and Engram to be back next year.

Why would Quon ever stay? He's projected as the #1 WR taken this year. Don't get me wrong, I'd love it, I just see no reason for him to come back.

Absurd to automatically assume losses for any team on the schedule.

If Chad Kelly returns, we can beat anyone on that schedule.
