Was just looking through some old stats and remembered something that we both share in common.

Johnny Vaught.

Vaught played guard for TCU from 1930-1932. So they can't be that bad.

They have ridiculously good looking women and a fantastic girl to guy ratio as well.

I've never seen any 8ft MSU lizard people, but I'll take your word for it.

Browning A Bolt II
7mm-08 w/ 16" barrel
Leupold VXR 2-7x33 w/firedot 4 reticle

It's getting cerakoted after this deer season. Just haven't decided what color scheme I'm going with. Best gun I've ever owned. Absolute tack driver. Shooting barnes TSX 120s out of it.

Then she's shooting one of the best deer cartridges available.

Very nice. It's hard to beat 7mm ballistics.

I've never had a bad shooting A-Bolt. All MOA or less from factory.

I bought an A-Bolt I Stainless Stalker in .280 3 years ago. It had never been shot. Last year I had it Black-T'd and the stock done in Multi-Cam Duratouch. Put a Burris E1 3-9x40 in Warne rings on it. This year it's making cloverleafs with Federal Power-Shok 150 SP's.

The next project is going to be an A-Bolt or X-Bolt Stalker in .338 Win. cut down to a 23" barrel with a Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40 AO... elk rifle...

Sorry folks... resume thread about TCU's hot co-eds...

I use a savage 308 with Nikon 50mm scope
You can reach out from quite a distance with it, swat uses the same model for snipers.

For muzzleloader I use a 45/70, it's a beast

I know... but the .338 A-Bolts I keep finding are beat to hell. If I find one in great shape, I'll pick it up.

Tikka .270

Best shooting rifle I have ever had. Love the trigger and the action. I have been through Browning, Ruger, and Remington and I am sold in Tikka.

But I have three kids from 6-10. So mostly what I do is take them squirrel hunting in the mornings and then rotate them sitting on my lap shooting at deer in the afternoon.

My days of actually deer hunting by myself are over for a few years.

And you giggle at me using a 7-08? What grain bullet? Copper or lead?
