To me this is far and away the most underrated rivalry in the conference-especially when both are good teams. The two best tailgating scenes in football are LSU and Ole Miss, far and away. Damn, I love this week.
Obviously this game isn't as hyped as it could have been, but O has given LSU's season a lot more than just new life baws. I know LSU just throttled two underwhelming programs in Mizzou and USM, but it's more so how LSU did it. For the first time in 3 years we're throwing the forward pass and keeping people honest. Our special teams is doing a solid job of not doing every single fricking thing wrong like we have the past 3 seasons. The defense leads the nation with only giving up 6 touchdowns all season.
How do you baws feel about this game? I'm kind of thinking 34-30 tigers. I can't even believe I just typed LSU scoring 34 in a second SEC game, but I feel confident LSU does if Fournette is healthy. Either way Guice is a beast, and LSU's balanced playcalling is proving to make our running game difficult to stop.
I haven't watched too much of Ole Miss this season, but I know you can score a lot of points, and on paper you seem stacked on defense. Seems strange OM is struggling on defense.
If you haven't been to Baton Rouge yet, i highly encourage you to make the trip. It's going to be a great atmosphere this weekend.

I didn't read your post.
Here's all you need to know:
Our D sucks
Our O is predictably unclutch
We have a Mickey Mouse style of play calling in all facets of the game
This game is at 8:00 in Death Valley
And our program is about to be hammered anyway
I'm gearing up for basketball and baseball

I think y'all will run all over us and beat us pretty easily probably something like 45-17

Freeze could learn a valuable lesson from Les. You don't have to stick with the guys who got you there. Other than Kiffin's brother, I don't think I can name a single assistant at OM. The job is more high profile than years past. He should go upgrade in a few spots.

I can't keep up with that mess anymore. so people feel like something bad is actually going to come out of it?

Should be a good game to watch if you are an LSU fan.

I can't believe I wasted money to go to this game. Tickets and hotel room....my LSU friends better have some damn good grub at the tailgate otherwise it will likely be a miserable experience.

I honestly started questioning myself why I go to all these away games after yesterdays game.

Well we can all meet up and be miserable together. I hope I get hit with a piss balloon, because I deserve it for being dumb enough to go see this atrocity. I might just go on a bender in the Quarter Friday night and no show the game.

Everyone should just drop their pants and piss on the team as they're running out of the tunnel at the next home game.

Might be worse than making the trip out to Orlando.

Did you guys get together and agree to all downplay your chances for the sake of karma?
This is LSU-OM. It's almost ALWAYS a nail-biter. this is going to be, like always, your typical fun rivalry game between the two.
I will say that OM's inability to stop the run is pretty critical. Guice is an animal, and enough said regarding Fournette

I went to Oxford last season 95% positive LSU was going to lose the game, though I wasn't expecting a blowout. It didn't stop me and shouldn't stop you from enjoying the gameday atmosphere and environment

This. But we'll lose in some dumb, infuriating way.

I will be there. I attend this game basically every year with a friend who played at LSU. Always have a good time down in Red Stick and get a bunch of y'all's former stars.
