always think firing coaches mid season is the wrong move, but we need to this year, and very badly so we can stop the bleeding. Recruiting every year seems to start earlier and earlier, and it'll be too late if we wait. A solid DC can also help us win more games this year too, as Wommack has proven he can't cut it. He's had a year since we lost to Arkansas to figure out how to stop the run and short passes, yet we still look clueless a year later. We've got to get an energetic recruiter to come in as DC, as well as some support coaches for him asap to save the class and look toward the future. We can have the best QB and receivers in the country, but with a shitty Big12 defense we are not winning the West. Oh, and we need some more offensive lineman badly. Little can be the anchor for the next two years, but he can't block for everyone else.

Wanna know what's miserable? Arguably the best person in the country for us would be Orgeron and a few young up and coming assistants to help him. With his recruiting and defense paired with Hugh's offense, we could be dangerous.

I totally agree.
