I'm going to tell y'all what the hell im tired of. Freeze is about to be skull fricked and instead of staying off social media he's tweeting pictures of him and his family meeting country music singers. Dude gives no fricks about what's going on as long as he can hang out with joe blow county star. Get him the hell out of here. I want a dang coach and not someone that doesn't give a crap. He needs to go. And it's not just because of what I've stated but the fact of all the trouble we're about to be in.

Not sure about the tweet stuff, but it's pretty obvious the last several months have taken their toll on Freeze. That said, I'm finally in the camp that believes he probably needs to go. Along with Bjork.

Shockingly I'm pissed you guys are going to be hammered-mainly because the LSU-Ole Miss rivalry is probably the most underrated rivalry when both teams are good...hell, even when they're not good. still, a ranked matchup makes it that much more fun. Even when Ole Miss isn't good it still gives LSU all it can handle and vice-versa. I don't look forward to the rivalry game going to that underdog role if shite hits the fan. but hey, O might just completely ruin the program, so we might not be far behind

LSU-OM in 2003, 2009, 2014 and so on were absolutely insane atmospheres when both teams are respectable.

My only bone to pick with the NCAA is that Alabama is allowed to cheat MORE than anyone else, not just cheat. I know LSU cheats, but others take it up a notch. I've been to Ttown many times; it's an amazing campus, and the winning is undeniable. still they can flip a Louisiana guy overnight like no other.

And damn, I am looking to get my MS in accounting from Ole Miss. would have been fun watching a top 25 team (assuming I go)

Weren't you hammered with Hal Mumme as coach? Just as soon as he beat Bama? Did Mumme keep his job?

Interesting....a few months back, anyone who suggested this was called an idiot and out of touch by you.....

Freeze should have already been fired, not just for the NCAA stuff but the fact this team completely laid down on him last season.....as a coach, your may as well pack your bags once that happens....you typically don't get it back

The only reason to root for the rest of the conference is to root for the money they raise for Ole Miss through revenue sharing. We're not getting a piece of the pie regardless this year. Beat them all and keep their revenues as shitty as possible. Send Bama to the Liberty Bowl...

Nah. Mumme stepped down and that probably softened the blow a little bit. And allegedly Tony Franklin got a conscience and was the one that blew the whistle.

You must have me confused with somebody else as I don't guess I have ever used the words "out of touch" in my entire life. Just not a go to phrase for me. However, I'll be the first to say that a few months ago I wasn't for firing Freeze, but given the recent turn of events, needless to say, that thought has changed drastically. I hate it. I think he's a good man and the recent months have obviously taken a huge toll on him. shite, just look at him. Maybe he takes better pics, but the ones we are seeing and the video we are seeing, he looks down right traumatized.

I think Freeze should just go ahead and retire. He's just 47, but that would give him decades to enjoy his millions, watch his daughter play basketball and enjoy playing golf. Who wouldn't want to do all that? He should also tell his story for a book. I'd damn sure read it. Just don't provide so much info it brings the NCAA into Oxford for another tour of duty.

Freeze is in no man's land at this point. The program will always have a cloud over it as long as he is here....regardless of the outcome of the COI.

Ole Miss has no choice but to go a different direction.

I also will be surprised if RB survives.

This is what is baffling. OM is still holding on. Not sure if they are just riding the ship until it hits the bottom, or if there is some smoking gun.

Agree with you, I always disliked the Baptist preachiness when I suspected we were getting dirty. If we were clean then I would have admired it, but the hypocrisy is disappointing.

The hypocrisy lies within the SEC, those who have spent years of running the SEC and cheating, continue to send the Neo Nazi Ncaa to camp out at other schools while only getting slaps on the wrist when they "so call, sell report"
infractions committed by their schools.

This whole idea that Freeze should go, is absurd. If the SEC powers that be, have sent the NCAA to get rid of Freeze, all the more reason to tell them to frick off.

It's funny reading all the pitiful posts by Rebels fans and those of the pseudo fans.

It's sad, 5 years and the NCAA comes up with 37,000 dollars of impermissible benefits. State and Auburn were attempting to get one player for $150,000 and when state lost out because they couldn't get their tractors to auction in time to raise the money, they snitched on Auburn. When the SEC had to cover it up they slapped state on the wrist and completely ignored their own by law so that Newton could play.

This isn't about Ole Miss cheating, this is about the SEC telling the member schools who can and cant cheat.

Let's find out what happens when the tape gets out and those top schools are shown to be involved with the same pay for play as Ole Miss.

Missisnitchie State may bring down the whole SEC in their zeal to damage Ole Miss.

Hyprocrites? Try to pay for Cam and got out bid. I guess if you can't afford it, it ain't cheating?

I think it's fitting that the shittiest program in the conference could bring the whole place down.

Now, do I think that anything will actually happen to Alabama, Auburn, or state?
Hell no. But it's nice to think that state being so hell bent on bringing us down could end up screwing up everyone if we release dirt we have on them.

Anyways frick state

Yeah I agree and considering the pics that have gone out of Bama players and their new rides, the conclusion is CFB is just rigged

Whether it was you or me saying it, I would have rolled my eyes in the past at this knowing I was just being pessimistic and complaining. The sad truth is that it is so true, and it's not being pessimistic and complaining. This was absolutely the NCAA digging for years just to spite us. It's made me lose all respect for the NCAA and basically college football. There's better things to do with time and weekends than get invested into something when it doesn't really matter - the system is setup against us. My oh my how could Ole Miss ever be good? We literally were investigated for picking up a few big-name recruits, which apparently Ole Miss isn't allowed to do, and beating "the best team in college football." If I can look forward to an NCAA investigation when my alma mater's program experiences that kind of "success", then I am not interested. I'll just go ahead and commit to watching the NFL, not that my life is getting any better as a Falcons fan but it certainly beats the shite out of this circus.

I like Hugh's faith and I like that he teaches these guys more about life. I stand behind Freeze fully, especiallY if the rest of the world isn't. Keeping him around is a blatant screw you to the rest of the conference and the NCAA. I want to give him a chance to fix the defense and running game and put us back on top despite all of the adversity.

The Super Bowl was the most disappointing sporting event of my lifetime. That said, this situation is so much worse simply because it will not go the frick away.

I think they know it's all over. I think they also know that nobody worth a damn would take this job right now. So might as well ride out the sentencing with Hugh until the program is in better shape.
