This is something that Freeze has never done very well.

Should we implement more under-center, one back sets? Or will that mess up the tempo of the offense?

Would more pistol formations work? Do we even have the personnel to run the pistol formation correctly?

On shotgun snaps, should we take Engram out (because he doesn't seem to know how to block) and put in a big package with Hunter Thurley and Octavious Cooley lined up on either side of the line?

Thoughts.

Tell Kelly to quit checking to pass plays and run the damn ball occasionally or just take it out of his hands and call a run play.

Have a good OL and good RB. Auburn, Bama, and LSU are better than we are at both. Who runs the ball at will against good teams outside of those three? It's not complicated. If we get Akers along with Wilkins and Swinney back, with the OL we will have, we will run the ball. Idk why y'all want a stubborn coach who does things that do not work

Wommack said after the FSU game that the CB's were playing too far off the WR and they didn't teach that.

Not costing a starting RB a year of eligibility on what was more or less a clerical error would probably help the running game

Exactly. Guy has been successful coaching college football for 37 years and idiots suggest he needs to go. Why? Lol Ironically he and Batoon both catch the blame and neither of them coach CBs lol

Exactly.Yeah I'm sure if LSU lost Guice to a clerical error and Fournette to a torn ACL no one would expect the running game to be as good. We rushed for 174 yards against Wofford and people still want more. Should Freeze have ran the crap out of Judd the one experienced RB we got left and got him hurt in a meaningless game? Lol

I wouldn't give up on this team just yet. If Kelly plays 2 halves like the first half against FSU, we have a chance.

We have a better chance of winning this one, than we had the 10 previous losses to Bama.

Let's lock the gates and pick a fight. I want to see Saban eat Lane's head after the loss.

This I agree with.

In regards to 3RD & WOMMACKing....you mean after 37 years of coaching he couldn't call down from the booth and chew some arse the first drive he saw them playing a 10-12 yard cushion? Why not call down and threaten to slaughter your assistance's 1st born the 2nd drive he saw them playing the 10-12 yard cushions?

I readily admit I don't know shite about football. But I can spot a trend when I see one: when we get a big lead, we almost always let the other team get right back into it. No football acumen required to spot that.

He could have. Then we would have been getting destroyed with deep throws. We would have not only had young CBs playing man, but young safeties protecting over top.

The truth is no one predicting the guy we were going to rely on at CB as the shutdown guy to go down for the season three defensive plays into the game.

I understand adjustments, but there ain't no adjustment mid game that was gonna prepare the young guys and backups stepping in that fast.

Next man up bruh.

In reality we actually might have pulled the FSU game if it hadn't been for the turnovers.
