We don't deserve to go to a bowl game... Who the hell are we going to beat???? Would just be another beat down...

WE NEED to get our asses on the road and start recruiting... We don't have shite that the 15 extra practices would benefit..

I've been watching freeze close all season this year because of the NCAA issue and how he would respond. As the year went on the worse he looked. Towards the end it was as if he knew or felt like something was going to go down with this mess were in and the players could see it and neither were motivated. I truly believe the NCAA issue has taken its toll and will continue to until it's over.
We need to clean house from freeze down unless one may be an elite recruiter. These guys and coaches have to be inspired somehow. We've got to have better leaders on and off the field. Someone that will hold each other accountable. We're lacking that in a huge way.

It would be interesting and revealing to juxtapose a sideline pic of Freeze from Week 1 of the season with last night. Pics that are in no way altered. But I agree, he definitely looks withered.

As for putting together a coaching staff that comes to work inspired, I have a very hard time believing any staff in the SEC isn 't very inspired. Just think about the money, the notoriety, the position of in many ways being the face of the university, the charge of leading and being responsible for so many student athletes. It's a tremendous job and you'd have to be very motivated daily to take it on. I believe our coaches are motivated, it could just be that some of them don't quite have what it takes to get the job done. I will say that Wommack might not have been overly motivated, given his age and the situation. But honestly, I have no idea. It's all a huge quandary and certainly came on us in a hurry.

Yesterday took a toll on me. I can't even muster up the energy for a response to any of these threads. It's going to take me a few weeks to shake this season before I can even talk football anymore. I can only hope this will be a catalyst for some major change over the next few months. I hope Bjork is just as much "coaching for his job" as Freeze is, and they both have the balls and self preservation to make the necessary changes.

There's been a common theme around all the message boards that Mullen has coached up his guys and made a better team. bullshite, that was one of the worst State teams in their history and they just routed us at home. What in the frick. Our players flat fricking quit and won't play for these coaches anymore. Why would any young talent come here? We need a clean sweep just to win the lockeroom back, or next year will be Freeze's two win encore as a Rebel.

He made us relevant again, I'll give you that.

He's also the coach that had one of, if not the most talented, Ole Miss team in the history of our program and still managed to get blown out by Florida, lay an egg vs. Memphis, and blow it at the end vs. Arkansas.

Freeze was great for our program in terms of bringing us out of the dumpster that we were in. With that said, I don't want to slip back in to the same dumpster we just got out of four years ago, and if that is how the future looks after next season, I don't want Freeze to continue driving us down. Doesn't help that we are in trouble with the NCAA.

Offense will be good, in fact, should be very good next year.

Why are we assuming this?

I agree.

If it was up to me we'd keep Heard, Kiffin, and Harris. That's it.

But to be fair, it was him and his staff that recruited the majority of those players and all of the very best ones.

They did for sure. I just hope they can keep recruiting at that elite level. If not, our team will fall fast.

Fire Freeze, hire Les Miles. Hate it for my man but the writing is on the wall for him here, fairly or not. At a minimum Les will keep us entertained.

Les couldn't win big at LSU. Definitely wouldn't want.

We got a grass field just in time for the Miles coaching era at Ole Miss

I'm half-kidding but the LSU game with The Hat vs Coach O would be incredible.

Lets bring Les in as OC. Give him Southern Mississippi and Louisiana as his recruiting area. Let him coach up the O-Line a little

Miles would be Houston Nutt 2.0

He wouldn't do as well as Nutt. Also, why help LSU in reducing his buyout?
